Finally!! Finally did it. Never seen it. Must admit it was pretty good. I was surprised to see so many cameos are young actors who are now famous. Fran Drescher!! Man, that voice never bothered me cause I can't hear it anyhow, smitten as I am with the rest of her.

One of my favorite movies ever!

And I'm really picky when it comes to comedies.

So many quotable moments from that flick. "Lick My Love Pump", "Kick my a$$!", "Sh!t sandwich", "It's in Dobly."

I've seen it a gazillion times and, like The Holy Grail, I still laugh my a$$ off through it every time.

Agreed. I'd seen it before a few times, but I just got around to buying the DVD yesterday. When I handed it to the cashier he looked at the cover, smiled, and just said "Awesome." Last seen movies - Page 19 604261

Arashi No Yoru Ni (see avatar)

Quite good. Very sad near the end. It's essentially the only anime worth watching. Ever.

And the DVD includes all the deleted scenes which pretty much is a movie by itself.

Watched "The Proposal" the other night, it's formula, but well done. Sandra Bullock is still charming and sexy as ever.

I knew some jackass in the Navy who thought she was ugly. Made me want to smack him upside the head.

Today courtesy of MST3K:

Cave Dwellers-seen this episode several times and it's still funny as hell the way they rib it. The movie itself is so boring and stupid that this is the only way to enjoy a movie like it.

Saw that one yesterday too. It was ok enough, but not nearly as cool as Creepshow.

No film can ever be as cool as "Creepshow," but "Trick R Treat" was a decent enough little flick in its own right. I knew going into it that there was no way it was going to live up to the hype that it's been getting from the horror community over the past year or so.

Which story did you like best? I loved the serial-killer principal whose bratty kid kept bothering him while he was trying to get rid of a body. "DAAAAAADDY!" Laughing very hard

That one was probably the funniest, the werewolve chicks was a pretty excellent surprise. Really, I dont think there was a bad segment in the movie, whoever wrote it knows horror well. I liked the combined bus story/Mr.Kreeg one the best though, little bastards. Laughing

It was all good. I hope Scottmitchell doesn't come back to this thread before he's watched the movie cuz we're giving away the whole store here. Laughing

The crowd was way into it, people were cheering, singing along and applauding as if it was a real concert. The editing was pretty cheesy at times but the content was solid. There were many scenes were you could tell he was drugged on something but he could still deliver a solid performance, though some of it was overdubbed a large portion was actual rehearsal vocals. His drummer was smurfing solid too, props, as well as a foxy English guitarist who can shred like nobody's business. The setlist was pretty good too. Anyways, it gets the Schmedlap seal of approval

Ironic that Michael Jackson's movie is rated "Parental Guidance," but sleepovers at his house weren't... Laughing

I find it amusing that his last release was titled "This Is It" when we all know this is just the beginning of all the unreleased, re-mixed, re-packaged, re-hyped, re-hashed material that will be flooding us for years to come. Tupac aint got nothing on the King Of Pop when it comes to posthumous releases.

I finished watching Drag Me To Hell.

Pretty good for a PG-13 horror movie. Some of the CGI effects were way too cartoony but the old hag that keeps suddenly popping up everywhere provides some good jumps.

I also had a hard time looking past the fact that the heroine's boyfriend was "Mac" from "PC vs Mac". He was in Jeepers Creepers too but that was before the Mac character.

Creep. A good, little horror film from England about a woman who is chased through the London subways and sewers by a deformed freak. I know that there is some horror fans on the board and I suggest you check it out if you can find it. It's not bad.

I still have some of the action figures from the Black Hole. It was supposed to be Disney's answer to Star Wars but it was never a big hit.

Halloween III

This was great!! I'd avoided it all these years because of the bad rap/no Michael Myers. Man, it's great! I love the Stonehenge/Occult element, the chant (5 more days to Halloween, Halloween....) the killings. Great movie!

Carnivore

WARNING!! NEVER RENT/BORROW/OR STEAL THIS MOVIE.

I saw it on tv last year, probably for the first time since I saw in the theater as a kid, and while I thought it was very interesting it's not hard to see why it flopped. It's a bizarre combination of Star Wars-ish elements like the cutesy robots and dark, metaphysical brooding - it's probably got more in common with 2001 than Star Wars. I wish I could go back in time and see what my child self made of the ending Smile
