Right now Turner Classic Movies is showing the original 1958 version of "The Blob" with Steve McQueen, and I'm recording it to watch later... haven't seen that one in ages....

I vaguely remember "Brainscan." That's the one with Edward Furlong of "T2" fame isn't it? If memory serves, it was pretty awful. Haha.

In Bruge, with Colin Ferrall, Ralph Fienes (sp?) and a buncha other English actors.

2 hitmen (Colin and some older guy) are sent by their boss (Fienes) to hide out in Bruge, Belgium till the heat dies down from their last hit. Hilarity ensues. Also contains an angry midget, which is always a plus in my book.

Good dark comedy/drama.

My brother-in-law told me about it the night we went to see Porcupine Tree. He's 2-for-2 with his recommendations.

Ghost Town-Not too awfully bad.A Syfy original about a bunch of dead cowboys who haunt a little western town.

Indeed it was. Great movie too, the effects still look good today.

Maybe I need to revisit Shocker. I remember seeing it on VHS when it was a new release and even back then I thought the FX were lame.

This is the one where the guy is executed in the electric chair but he comes back right?

That was actually my introduction to Dangerous Toys, I was real disappointed when I got the debut, and they were sportn woodys instead of bein' heavy.

Dead On however, was the real surprise to me and an excellent discovery, their album (and harder to find EP) rocks to the nth degree, and Max Norman's production on the album is great.

thats funny. It was my intro to them aswell. I got the ST and like you didnt know why the songs were not as good as on Shocker. I do like them now but it was almost a different band.

"Halloween" was on American Movie Classics last night so of course I had to watch it (for about the fifty billionth time)... tis the season after all.
