I saw a trailer for this movie a while back and it looked kick ass. I wanna check it out.

I'm glad October is nearly over... I think I've completely exhausted the dollar stores' supply of schlock horror DVDs now!! Last I looked about all that was left was a bunch of old Westerns, Kung-Fu movies and some cartoons.

After talking about it the other day, I decided to watch "Society" again; I hadn't seen it in a while.

What a strange movie this is. It's a slow burn for about the first 60 minutes as the main character tries to scratch off the veneer and find out what's really going on. The last third is totally over the top.

For those who have seen it, I have one question. What's the deal with the fat Amazon women who likes "hair" and coughs up hairballs? She's Clarissa's mother. There's no explanation why she keeps turning up and why she's got Frankenstein's vocabulary.

Schlock-tober continues with... "Survive This."

...an absolutely GODAWFUL direct to video mess about a reality TV show being shot on an island that happens to be haunted by the murderous ghosts of a pirate crew. The "celebrity guests" on the reality show include such Z-listers as porn queen Gina Lynn, former Jerky Boy "Kamal" Ahmed and that "Naked Cowboy" nut-bag who hangs around Times Square in New York City.

The lone point in this movie's favor is that the female cast members are all extremely hot, and that they spend most of the movie in various states of undress. Despite that I would only recommend this movie to insomniacs and the terminally out-to-lunch.

This movie should've been called "Avoid This."

Today I saw the 3rd Harry Potter movie. Sw the second one last week. My kids want me to catch up so we can see the 6th one on DVD soon. Very Happy

The third one is so much better than the first two. The fourth one is good - but the 5th and 6th are much better than the 4th!!!!

Not if there's cash to be milked out of it. Hollywood haven't had an original idea in quite a while Last seen movies - Page 15 Icon_lol

. They won't be happy until they've 'reimagined' all the movies we loved as kids as soulless cash-ins and tarnished the originals.
