What SPORTS Did You Watch Today? - 2017

Yeah I've heard those rumors around here too. 

Taking on the contract is one thing; the Cardinals can certainly afford it.  They drew 3.6M fans again this year.

But if the Marlins want half a dozen high-end prospects I'd say forget it.  One or two, maybe.

Watched the Marlins beat the Braves last night.

Watched the Cardinals come back from 6-0 to win 7-6 and knock Milwaukee out of the post-season.

Watched the Steelers beat the hated Baltimore Ravens today 26-9. Then I switched over to watch the last Pirate game against the Nationals. The Bucs are currently winning 6-4.

Watching the Dodgers lead the Rockies 5 to 1 in the bottom of the 6th.

Watched NFL RedZone most of the day and saw the hated Rams beat the Cowboys. You know I hate the Rams when I'm rooting for the Cowboys.

Then I flipped over in time to see the Cardinals roll over and die for the season, losing 6-1 to the Brewerrs.

I'm having a great time this NFL season watching the Patriots struggle!

Watching the Redskins and Chiefs.

3-0 Twins over the Yankees in the top of the first.  



EDIT: Well that fun didn't last very long. 3-3 in the bottom of the first already.

I'm still rooting for the Twins!

Too bad the Yanks pulled it out. I'm sure MLB Network and ESPN are getting out the KY Jelly and rubber gloves over it.

NL Wild Card game.

This is shaping up to be a blowout. It's already 3-0 AZ in the first and they have runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out. And Greinke is pitching for the DBacks.

Hope you kept watching. The Rockies never gave up, got to 5-6, then we scored 8-5, then they came back to make it 8-7, we got some breathing room in the 8th to make it 11-7, then the Rockies scored in the 9th, but came up short by three. Great game all around. I just finished it, and still can't breath. Bring on the Dodgers!

Watched the Penguins lose to the Blues 5-4 in overtime.

I'm pulling for the Diamondbacks in the NL and the Astros in the AL. I'm rather indifferent to the Indians but every other team bother me. The Yanks and Red Sox (although it's the broadcaster's wet dream) would be a god awful series. And the Cubs and Dodgers (Yankees West) need knocked down.

I know you are. But I agree it should be a good series.

Now watching "The Evil Empire II" (aka the Red Sox) vs the Astros. Great pitching matchup; Sale vs Verlander.

This is the first post-season game I really care about. So far it's 4-2 'stros. C'mon Houston! They're my favorite AL team and I hate Boston, second only to the Yankees in the AL.

Wow, Sale continued his second-half swoon. He ended up going 5 and allowing 7 runs on 9 hits.
