Winger's version of 'Purple Haze' is painful, as is Motley Crue's version of 'Anarchy in the UK' and you can also throw in their version of 'Jailhouse Rock', which is god awful.

^^ Truth. "Purple Haze" was a downright crime.
I'll throw in Toad the Wet Sprocket's version of "Rock and Roll All Nite". I love the band, love their lazy style, but it just wasn't suited for that song, which HAS to be rockin'.

I love Megedeth but I thought their cover of Alice Cooper's No More Mr Nice Guy was a bit of a turd.
