"Ace of Spades" has been covered by Crowbar, Bathory, Drain STH and Sodom (live on One Night in Bangkok). It has been recorded in dutch by Peter Pan Speedrock (Pretty fun record!). I guess that it has been playd, among with several other Motörhead-songs, live by many bands.

I would have swore that some thrash band from the late 80's/early 90's did a Motorhead cover. I thought maybe it was "The Hammer" by At War, but that's not the one I was thinking of either.

Didn't Loudness (or maybe some other Japanese metal band?) cover "Ace of Spades"? I remember a buddy of mine having a tape with a very heavy accented singer screaming out "The Aaaaace of Spaaaades"

These are all pretty good, especially that of Overkill and Damage Case. I have the bootleg CD "Hey, Hey, We're The Lemmy's" (50th B-Day). Metallica also does "We Are The Road Crew", and my personal fav among all these "The Chase Is Better Than The Catch".

I wish Metallica would end up recording that song also.
