Not specifically a bass "intro" but my favorite Steve Harris performance of all time is the solo he plays at the beginning of King Of Twilight. That little lick he plays at :43 seconds is killer.

But memorable is subjective. I've read many reviews of albums where the reviewer claims there is nothing memorable about the album only to listen to it myself and find many of the songs memorable to me.
