Always loved the intro to Souls of Black and I live You Die. What other rock or metal songs have great intros?

Deathwish I've always loved the bass intro to that song.

It's not exactly an "intro" but I always loved how the album version of Metallica's "Anesthesia/Pulling Teeth" flows right into "Whiplash"

Whatever it is called Cliff Burton was badass, that is a great choice.

Warrior Soul's "Hero" and "New Frontier" have some cool bass at the beginning as well.

Great call on 'Send Me Your Money', Eyesore. It's not entirely bass, but I always loved the intro to 'Five Magics' by Megadeth. You could argue that 'Dawn Patrol' is effectively one long bass intro. I've always loved that weird little track for some reason. Also, seeing as I'm on an Extreme kick, I think 'Tragic Comic' deserves a mention.

I believe you're thinking of "In The Eye Of The Fire" ... "Close To The Edge" has no bass intro (and it's on ATOMIC ARENA besides!)

This one is a bit of a stretch and is a part of the intro, but the bass line from GnR's Sweet Child of Mine is pretty cool when it comes on right after the guitar intro.
