| Ok, i know that nevermore have got a different style from sanctuary. But if you had to choose, whom would you go for? I think that Dane sanctuary is pretty amazing. Much better then Halford himself when it comes to screaming... True majestic glass shattering pipes... | |

| I like em both a lot but what separates it for me is Dead Heart in a Dead World. That cd is an island cd and really showcases Danes amazing vocals. Also Sanctuary didn't have Loomis and Van Williams and those 2 are a huge part of why I love Nevermore so much. | |

| Sanctuary for me! I agree too that Warrel had some insane pipes in his younger years. | |

| I could swear we've done this one before. Either way, I love both Sanctuary albums. Nevermore can be great at times too, but they're kinda hit or miss. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Sanctuary is great, but in terms of quality, Nevermore takes it.
I think Warrel should re-record the Sanctuary albums as Nevermore. Both albums or one album with the best songs. |

| I wish I could have seen Sanctuary live, I did get a chance to catch Nevermore many moons ago and they put on a great show...I actually preferred them live to what I had heard on the studio albums.
They are one of those bands that I'll get around to eventually (along with a million others). |

The only thing that I saw them do live that could be considered Sanctuary material was the White Rabbit cover. But that's not really Sanctuary, is it ? Btw, Warrel's voice with Sanctuary FTW. In my books. | |

| Definitely the Nevermore vocals. I think Warrel's voice is more emotive when it's lower. Having said, when he does do the shriek on the Nevermore stuff, it works very well. _________________ | |

| Nevermore by a long shot. The Sanctuary stuff took a long time to grow on me. I've liked Nevermore since I heard the very first note. Warrel's vocals in Sanctuary, when compared to his work in Nevermore, seemed forced and a bit un-natural to me. And I like the meloncholy (sp?) themes of Nevermore. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| Nevermore is a great band, don't get me wrong. But since "Dreaming Neon Black" all their albums sound alike to me.
Sanctuary appeals to me more. |

Cult Pre-NEVERMORE Metal Act SANCTUARY To Reunite For New Studio Album - May 11, 2010 |
|
NEVERMORE frontman Warrel Dane has announced that his late '80s cult metal outfit SANCTUARY will reunite to record a new studio album. "[I've] been talking with Lenny [Rutledge, former SANCTUARY guitarist]," Dane explains. "We are really good friends again and it feels good." He adds, "I missed my relationship with him for many years.
Regarding how the SANCTUARY reunion will affect NEVERMORE, which has a new studio album ("The Obsidian Conspiracy") coming out next month, Dane says, "NEVEMORE is never going away, so don't start any more rumors!"
