Was that any good? Looks like it might be funny. I thought it was hilarious. I agree, it's hilarious. At first I had my doubts, but the actors all play their parts really well. Jane Lynch's character is casted as a really, really weird lady. Talking about this movie makes me wanna go out an' play some LAIRE.

| I watched a cheap horror movie called Drive Thru the other night. My wife and I were hoping to see something so bad it was funny, but this was just plain crappy. It's about spoiled rich kids getting bumped off by a killer dressed like an evil Ronald McDonald. The movie's supposed to be satirizing the fast food industry (that guy who made Super Size Me has a cameo) but they never really do anything with it, and the kill scenes are remarkably uncreative. Oh well | |

That sounds like an interesting premise that was botched. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I can watch that one over and over. I never seem to tire of it for some reason.

Greatest soundtrack ever We watched Warlock last night. Somehow I'd never caught it before but I thought it was pretty cool. The acting's not great - Lori Singer's such a wooden actress that a lot of the comic relief her character's supposed to provide falls flat - but Julian Sands plays a real nasty villain and the witchcraft tricks he uses throughout the film are interesting and inventive.

| Gamera - Defender Of The Universe This is not the "kiddie Gamera". The FX are pretty good and no annoying little kids yelling "Go Gamera!". _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Anyway, it's one of Smith's best films to date. It's not easy to balance over the top gross-out humor with a romance and make it work...but this one does beautifully. |

| I watched Drillbit Taylor today, utterly sucked in my opinion. High school isn't really like that at all. And where the heck were all the teachers? | |

It wasn't trying to be realistic Taken was the last good flick I've seen in awhile. I've seen Dragonball Evolution and the new Fast and Furious, both are entertaining but the quality stops at that.

Then what was it supposed to be? Funny? 'Cause it sure wasn't that either.

| Home on a rainy day with the young'ins so I threw on "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa." The kids were lovin' it for a while but of course their attention span only lasts so long, then they went back to running buck wild around the house and left me watching it by myself. Funny stuff, though I probably missed quite a bit with all the background noise going on. I'll have to watch it again some time after the kids are in bed. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Haven't had any work for the past week, so I've had plenty of time to watch the tube.
I'm working my way through the new Battlestar Galactica series, onto Season 3 next...this thing is ADDICTIVE. |
