| All the G movies with packaging that looks like a silver hardbound book contain both the US and Japanese versions. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Back to the wrestling side, I saw Wrestlemania V. The Wrestlemania debut of The Big Boss Man, one of my favorite of all time. Definatly one of the most agile big guys of the 80s-90s, R.I.P. I still love these old Wrestlemanias and while the action was mostly fairly boring to slighly above average, the storylines and the promos remain the best at least for nostalgia purposes. VI and VII are due in the mail soon and I got a week of laziness ahead of me . | |

| There's a new horror flick based on Aleister Crowley. The movie poster has a big red flaming pentagram on it. I wonder what bands they got to do the soundtrack. |

| So, I'm thinking about seeing this Crowley flick, when I notice that Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) co-wrote the screenplay, and his song 'Chemical Wedding' is featured in it. Has anyone seen it yet? The film also has his tune, Man Of Sorrows, as well as the Maiden tracks, Wickerman and Can I Play With Madness? |

| "Spring Break Shark Attack" -- yea, a Sci-Fi Channel movie. Nuff said. Actually, for the first hour or so I thought I was watching a Lifetime Channel movie because the sharks were non-existent. The movie followed a virginal young girl going to Florida for Spring Break for the first time and falling victim to a guy who put a Roofie in her drink. Whoever heard of a shark movie with a social conscience? My wife and I were like "Come on sharks, EAT somebody already!" _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Wrestlemania 6: They replaced Dusty Rhodes theme song with some stupid generic music that seemed like it would feel at place in an 80's Nintendo game (really crappy digital drums) and Dusty and Sapphire looked extremely retarted dancing to it. They also replaced Demoliton's music with generic guitar music, Slick and Akeem's music with generic crap and used Big Boss Man's old theme song (thanks to Youtube I was able to play the origional theme music for the last two-didn't even think of doing it with the first two). Apart from that it wasn't a bad Wrestlemania and only Hogan vs. Warrior was bland (though a lot better than it should have been). Madagascar 2: Unfortunatly my mom and her husband didn't remember the first one and had it confused with The Wild, so I had to pause it and explain the back story. Nonetheless, they enjoyed it. Bolt: Another good animated Disney movie. How come they weren't this good when I was a kid? I couldn't stand the majority of the Disney movies back then (like animated musicals-I have always despised musicals). | |

That would be WMIII w/ Jake The Snake vs. Honky Tonk Man Oh, I forgot, I saw the Best Of Starcade documentary. Unfortunatly it was way too short. They did extensive stuff on the 80s and early 90s but they rushed completly through the mid 90s on up. Very disappointing but the matches promise to make the payment for this DVD worth while. One thing for sure, WCW had much better matches than the WWF in the 80s as well as the 90s.

| Oh... and you horror afficionados still need to rent Midnight Meat Train. Clive Barker has already written the sequel and I want to see it so get out there and rent it! Thank you. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Regarding why The Midnight Meat Train only opened in about 100 theaters instead of the thousands originally planned:
- Quote :
- Clive Barker was angry with the Lionsgate's treatment, believing that Lionsgate president Joe Drake is essentially shortchanging other people’s films in order to focus more attention on movies like “The Strangers,” where he received a producing credit: "[T]he politics that are being visited upon it have nothing to do with the movie at all. This is all about ego, and though I mourn the fact that ‘Midnight Meat Train’ was never given its chance in theaters, it’s a beautifully stylish, scary movie, and it isn’t going anywhere. People will find it, and whether they find it in midnight shows or they find it on DVD, they’ll find it, and in the end the Joe Drakes of the world will disappear."
Wow I cant believe you guys think strangers was that bad. I actually liked it. It scared the hell out of my girlfriend haha. I guess we just like the simple things haha. Yea things were stupid but you have to remember that some people dont know how to react in certain situations and with people coming and going at your front door and all the other stuff that went on you cant think straight. I didnt think it was a great movie but I didnt think it was bad either. Its good for a little scare especially for people who get scared easily which I can sometimes. I saw vacaney mentioned too, that was pretty much the same movie. That was decent but I think strangers was better. _________________

| Brick Lane - A girl/woman from Bangledesh lives in London with her much older husband (arranged marriage), two daughters and all that that entails. Not a bad little story. Facing The Giants - This was a great movie. I had avoided it because it sounded cheesy, but after seeing Fireproof I figured "why not". I spent half the movie misty eyed. Not bad at all, especially for amatuers. | |
