I haven't heard about them since that terrible 3rd movie that came out in the early 90's.

Yeah, there's 8 of them I believe. Of course they had to do one with the most popular mode of jumping the shark; Pinhead in space.

BTW, there is of course a remake of the original in the works. Now THAT'S lame!

I actually thought the "Pinhead in Space" one (I believe it's "Hellraiser: Bloodline") was pretty good. It was probably the last semi-decent entry in the series.

I'm not sure if I've seen "Hellraiser: Deader" (I forget which was the last one I saw, it sucked, whichever one it was) but I remember two of the sequels were released direct to video about a month apart from each other (and they both starred former MTV babe Kari Wuhrer) a couple of years ago. That's never a good sign!!

I personally liked the third one (my first Hellraiser movie) but I don't think I saw the space one. I stoped after the 5th one.

I didn't think the third one was that bad either. It was pretty sweet seeing Armored Saint make a cameo appearance in the nightclub scene (right before the Cenobites come in and slaughter everbody!)

"Bloodlines" wasn't too bad but putting Pinhead in space was a sure sign that the series was running out of gas.

The third one wasn't bad except for the Cenobite that flung CDs at people. That was beyond dumb.

The worst one in the series is either Deader or Hellworld (a puzzle box video game?)

Thats quite unfair. The Palestinians have been assulting Israel for a long time and they are now doing something about it. You can only push someone so far before they push back.

As much as i agree with you, my friend, on the fact that religious groups such as hamas should be destroyed, i do however believe that Israel's response always goes beyond the limits of self defense..Far beyond...Innocent populations that have nothing to do with integrism are being on purpose decimated...Always in the name of freedom...Destroying schools and hospitals, sniping kids playing in their backyard...That's nazism too...But i do understand such a behaviour. Eagle Eye - not bad.....it was entertaining if unrealistic

The Rocker - a 7/10. Again, not bad. Mildly entertaining. I rented it mostly because of "Dwight" from The Office.

At least it was better than the other two horror series that put their main characters in space ("Leprechaun 4" and "Jason X")

If memory serves, the director of "Hellraiser: Bloodline" (whoever it was) didn't like how the movie turned out (final editing issues or something) so his name was taken off the film and director credit was given to the ever-popular pseudonym, "Alan Smithee"

I don't care what you say, Jason X was a decent movie.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love Jason X. But it's goofy, and it was obviously goofy on purpose. (Girl about to be pulled thru a hole in the wall out into space: "This sucks... on SO MANY LEVELS!" hahaha) At least Hellraiser: Bloodline played it straight.

Agreed, I loved the fact it was played for laughs...the David Cronenberg cameo at the beginning was a stroke of genius.

I just watched Max Payne, didn't make one iota of sense but it looked great.

(although the slo mo fight sequences really need to go away)

I liked Jason X as well.
