Well if you are only going to have one CD by Iggy Pop/The Stooges, " Raw Power" is an excellent choice.

" Some Tough City" a lost classic from the 80's from Tony Carey, hard to believe that he was in Rainbow, Spec like Shamu I am surprised you have no Alice In Chains, one of the best bands to come out of the 90's in my humble opinion.

Over the years I have had Facelift, Dirt, the excellent Unplugged album and the self titled. But I have also traded them off over the years. Not because they were bad. There is just too much other stuff I want in my collection.

I can see where coming from Spec, but I can never part from a CD once I bought it, unless it is a complete piece of turd, and even than if it is a band I like I keep it to complete a discography of an artist.

April Wine I remember them, not a fan but my wife used to love " Nature of the Beast" I may to have to give them another chance and see if I changed my mind. We still own that CD. The Alarm wow!!!, early 80's post punk band that had a bit of following in the States, never owned any of their albums need to see if I would like them better now that I am older.

Interesting list Toho.

I love the Alarm.

That In The Poppyfields record is a classic because it put one over on the British music press.

They released a video for the single 45 RPM and used this "boy band" lip synching to the music because Mike Peters knew that he would be deemed too old and the radio programmers wouldn't play it. Sure enough, it became a hit.

That is great, even if their music was terrible they have won my respect for getting one over on the music industry.

Since I like early Springsteen, it only stands to reason I'd like John Cafferty.

Yep. About the only genres I don't have in my collection are country (unless you count Charlie Daniels and Marshall Tucker Band) and hip hop.

Holy crap!!! I just looked up that CD on Amazon and it's going for over 200 bucks!!

I got it about 5 years ago from a local CD shop on special order for around $20. Another good investment in my CD collection apparently.

Ebay currently has one copy going for about $20 so that's more reasonable.
