HA! Glad to see someone else has Gin Blossoms. They're like persona non grata among most metalheads but I like 'em.
Which Ginger album is that? I have Corazon del Valor.

New Miserable Experience is a classic. Doug Hopkins was such a great songwriter, was such shame he was cut down so young..........just like my other fave songwriter of that time Jim Ellison of Material Issue.
In regards to Ginger i have Corazon del Valor aka The Man Who Cheated Death and Market Harbor.....which has got to be one of the best albums of '08.

I will third in declaring New Miserable Experience as a classic, if Doug could have dried out and keep it together, the Gin Blossoms may have become the later day Replacements but it was not meant to be.

I'm very ecclectic; I don't even pay attention to style changes as long as th songs are good, so I can go from cumbia to doom metal and enjoy it evenly.
Here are my ten most listened songs at the moment, and I consider h all kind of similar in style:
1) Alice Cooper – Pick Up the Bones 2) Sixx AM - Life is Beautiful 3) Peeping Tom - Mojo 4) Robey – One Night in Bangkok 5) Audioslave - Doesn't Remind Me 6) Pennywise - Badge of Pride 7) NOFX – Buggley Eyes Nine Inch Nails - Only 9) Slayer - Jihad 10) Onslaught - Welcome to Dying

It's become my favorite Alice Cooper song. The more I listen to it the more i like it, and I've been doing it for about three years.

Last.fm recommends both MercyMe and Mercyful Fate as bands I should listen to.

I love different styles of music but I am listening to metal 99% of the time. Like someone mentioned there are so many different styles that you can listen too just under the metal umbrella. BUt I have noticed that whatever I listen to is mostly guitar driven music. Metal, rock, blues, some country.
I have no use for jazz or rap though. Just never liked anything I've heard.

This morning I started out with Lester Young & Count Basie, listened to some James Gang and Pink Floyd, then listened to a Solace CD, now I'm back on Floyd again this afternoon...think I'll listen to Weather Report next.

My ipod has a tendency to go anywhere from old George Jones to Overkill, and then onto spanish guitar or angelic harp. People walk by my office at work and look at me like I'm crazy
