Can't say I agree with some of those, but with Limp Bizkit having two albums in the Top 5, I can't say I totally disagree either.

| Bathory??? no freakin way man. i can see them including Sepulturas Against (although i liked that album) because it was widely panned being the 1st without Max, & i can see St Anger (although i liked that too) seeing as how that album pissed alot of people off. i can even see Anal C*nt (& i like that album too), seeing as how they piss everyone off. but Bathory & Dio? pffftttt _________________ | |

| I didn't understand the Dio either. Perhaps not Dio's best, but far from being one of the worst albums of all time. I'm surprised enough people know of Bathory to even included them in such a list.
Lots of platinum sellers in that list, which I find really funny. Just goes to show that record sales does not automatically equal good music.
I agree with the inclusion of St. Anger. I honestly thought that CD was joke when I first popped it into the CD player. I kept waiting for the real music to start, but it never did. The joke was on me as I just paid full price for one of the worst metal albums ever recorded. I'm a big Metallica fan and I hope they redeem themselves, but that album is putrid. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

I like Animalize and Asylum quite a bit. Both albums were on that list, as well as some other Kiss albums.

| Sepultura's Against was 46? I always liked that album. It wasn't Chaos AD but it was good.
Also Genesis' Calling All Stations and Kiss' Animalize were good albums that were in the first 100.
No complaints about some of them though. |

| Lots of albums in there I wouldn't include, and this list is just out of the Top 500 or so. Many of these may not be these band's best works, but they are far from the crap they are lumped in with. I mean, Aerosmith's Rock in A Hard Place? Give me a break! That was a fantastic album marred only by people's prejudice that Joe Perry was no longer in the band.
Black Sabbath - Forbidden Metallica - Load Metallica - ReLoad Kiss - Animalize Kiss - Asylum Kiss - Unmasked Kiss - Crazy Nights Kiss - Psycho Circus Aerosmith - Just Push Play Aerosmith - Rock in a Hard Place (happens to be one of my personal favorites) Aerosmith - Done With Mirrors Aerosmith - Classics Live Iron Maiden - Virtual XI Iron Maiden - No Prayer for the Dying Yes - Open Your Eyes Yes - Union Yes - Big Generator Yes - Tormato (happens to be one of my personal favorites) Deep Purple - Slaves & Masters The Who - It's Hard Helloween - Pink Bubbles Go Ape Helloween - Chameleon Ted Nugent - Nugent Ted Nugent - Little Miss Dangerous Ted Nugent - If You Can't Lick 'Em Ted Nugent - Penetrator Queensryche - Tribe Celtic Frost - Cold Lake Nitro - O.F.R. | I have to stop reading that list. The more albums on there I see that I like/own, the more infuriated I become. I can't quite figure out how exactly they came up with this list. Do you register and vote? What criteria does an album have to fall under to be considered the worst? Can I just register and add anything I want? Can I nominate Sgt. Pepper just because I feel like it and want to upset Beatles fans? Is anyone monitoring this list for quality control? It runs a pretty broad spectrum of musical genres. And I don't even know what the heck that #1 Frog album is. Is it some sort of compilation album? An album of frog noises? Whatever it is, can it really be the WORST album of all-time? Worse than that Lou Reed album of static and industrial noise? Whew...too much caffeine today.

Surprisingly Manowar - Gods of War is ALREADY on that list. actually, imho, every one you listed there (with exception of Cold Lake & Blow Up Your Video) would have been on my "worst" list. Gods Of War at #1. _________________

| Some of my favorite albums there. I thought Sabbath's Forbidden had some weak songs, but also some of my faves from the Martin era. D.P. Slaves and Masters I always viewed as a Rainbow album, and like it from that perspective. And Frost's Cold Lake would be one of my Desert Island discs; because I take it completely with a sense of humor. I've had a lot of fun listening to that album. | |

| XD!!!!!!! For number 1539, The Avril Lavigne cd, well that came out 2 days ago!!!! I work at Wal-Mart so I know that. I just think it's hilarious that they put that on there ALREADY! TWO DAYS!! ?However, as one can tell (by looking at my avatar pic), I'm a big fan of Liz Phair and 2 of her cd's were on there! And I like BOTH of them!!! But yeah, most of the time, these people are RIGHT ON....however, loads of times they are INSANE WAY OFF!!!! At 2084 they have Metal Church!!!!!!!!!! NO FRICKIN WAY!!!

| A lot of it is perspective.
For instance, the Dio album listed might be the "worst" that Dio did, but even "bad" Dio is better than "good" (insert random band here).
Also, it seems to me that a lot of these entries were more a vote against a genre (Nu-Metal, Bubblegum Pop, etc.) than an actual album for any critical reasons.

| Not an album, but when I was at work late last night, some crappy Kenny Rogers song called Lucielle (sp) came on. Without a doubt, one of the WORST songs Ive ever heard, after it was over, Ive never been so happy to hear Madonna in my life. | |
