Your right, I didn't read it right, my bad. I just remembered when earlier he implied that riots might break out if he wins because some people won't except a black president. But I should have read that post better.

So some people are afraid to not vote for Obama because there might be riots? That is a lame excuse to vote for someone. Talk about a fear campaign. Some idiots will riot for anything just for an excuse to loot stores.

Whoever put together the recent obama ads took their inspriation from Triumph Of The Will - same ideas, with obama in front of huge crowds. I'm not saying obama's a facist (I just call him a socialist), but there is an eery similarity to the movie.

That might be a tad extreme. I just think that the problem is that the US has become less of a republic and more of a monarchy.

McCain - even though i am not american. britain supports mcCain. seems less likely to cause more wars where obama seems hot headed enough to do so. i shall be watching this election tomorrow night inb the union bar

There isn't a politician that doesn't use scripts. Obama is no different than anyone else in that respect.

People seem to think Obama is some kind of new animal. He's not but people seem blinded by his cult of personality. IMO, he's just another politician.

You can wrap a turd in pretty packaging but in the end it's still a turd. Same with politicians.

Not that McCain is any better mind you.

But he doesn't seem to have the blinding star power Obama does.

99% of politicians are "just another politician". They all promise relatively the same thing, that they're going to get us out of any current crisis and make everything good again. I'm an Obama supporter, but I know the guy probably isn't going to break any new ground. If he wins, he'll undeniably be remembered as the first non-white president rather than for his actions.
