Woke up, mowed the lawn, showered, read a book, went shopping (CDs), saw Get Smart, got home, took a nap, watched Law & Order, went to see the Dark Knight, and now I am doing my last set of posting before the work week begins again.

Apart from sleeping, not much. I'm currently watching House before wrestling starts. After that I shall start my day. I've got to reduce the clutter in my possesion, go through the pantry and fridge, watch some TV, and at 6 in the morning I shall clean out my car (it's been tooooo long-I don't have rats living in there or anything unsanitary, but I have tons of trash [no food], CDs, books, clothes, etc.). Then I will see whether I have the willpower to resist buying any CDs later tomorrow (I only plan on spending not much more than $20 at a used store, but if the selection is real good, I may not be able to resist spending a little more-damn my CD addiction).

Went in to work 2 hours later than normal and left at 11 am. Worked a whopping 3 hours today. My department got the afternoon off in celebration of finally rolling out the new application to all our branches.

Whew! What a day!

I woke up at 4:30am like usual and turned on the news to find out that a manhunt for a murder suspect was taking place about 3 miles north of my house.

I got to work and went to the local Fox affiliate's streaming broadcast. Found out the manhunt had moved a little further south.

The next hour, the manhunt was a mile north of my house. About 30 minutes later, one of the onsite reporters starts talking about police walking down the street of my subdivision with their guns drawn. Next thing I know, I'm seeing aerial pix of cops in my subdivision walking onto my street!!

After about 4 hours of watching this, they finally nabbed the guy about a mile and a half northwest of me. But it was really creepy seeing my subdivision in the middle of a manhunt for a guy who shot and killed a 12 year old child Monday night.

C'mon,

You have to go some to top my 200 cops roaming my subdivision story.

Literally, we had all law officials from US Marshall to FBI to State Troopers and county and local police departments cordoning off a 9 square mile block with my subdivision being in it.

We had 6 schools close for the day and/or go to lockdown status.

Imagine being at work, surfing the net and finding video of cops marching down your street with guns drawn...

I'm taking off tomorrow as a "mental health day"...
