I actually remember shortly after that song became a hit. I remember making a comment online when people were talking about it. I said to myself, "That has to be the worst song I've heard in a long time."
My mom was in the room across from me. She actually heard me and said, "It's Friday!" It was funny she actually guessed the song I was alluding to, and guessed correctly. How she knew, I'm not sure.

Ever seen the huge rush right when the doors open? I have to say, after seeing the crap at walmart, this is just as fitting.

I remember being quite surprised to see a Cannibal Corpse album at Wal-Mart a couple of years ago (it was Evisceration Plague). I never would have expected that.

They are the highest selling band in their genre, I wouldn't be surprised.

I was so glad I didn't have to be a part of this crap this year. The single best thing about not working in retail right now.

Funny enough I almost bought the Peace Sells vinyl at Hastings black friday sale. Sadly the music section, even with 30% off used/vinyl and a coupon for any cd 9.99, was a ghost town.
I like that the places open at midnight because by the next morning the craziness has ended and there are still good deals. Feel bad for the employees who have to work that madness. And on a holiday too.

Was the vinyl the original or the remaster?

The remaster - which was why I ended up putting it back. Would love to find the picture disc.

Yeah, but given that Wal-Mart are very stubborn about carrying music with certain lyrical content, it is rather surprising.
Evisceration Plague is probably their "tamest" album lyrically, though.

I would have to say KILL is a little more tame. I really hope to be surprised by the 2012 album though. I miss the mid paced groove that albums like The Wretched Spawn had.
