Dunno about the gig Ult is seeing but when this tour hits NJ, the openers at the gig I'll be attending will be Trivium (?) and Lauren Harris. Don't know much about Trivium, but knowing the crew I'll be attending the show with, we'll probably get there too late to check them out anyway.

Ilbe heard of Trivium, but haven't heard anything by them. Trivium is only opening for the NY shows, Lauren Harris is on all shows. I caught the meadowlands show back in March - great show! You'll have a great time. I'm also catching the Columbia, MD show 4 days after your show. Great set list with all the classics!!!

It's more popish in nature her sound is. If you like popish music!

Lauren looked like a teenager to me. Not sure how old she is, but I have a hard time "checking out" girls that look like they could be friends of my teenage daughter. Honestly, that's what she looked like. I didn't think her performance or band were bad. She had a great bass player in Randy Gregg. Gregg has also played with Dee Snider's SMF, Thin Lizzy and Angel.

Makes sense - my daughter is only 3, so I don't have that problem yet - I'm sure I will. Of course, by that time I will be almost 50.

I didn't know the bass player played with those bands - that's cool.

Great pix Bronto! You guys must've had awesome seats! I tried to take some camera-phone snaps the last time I saw Maiden (Oct. '06) but I was too far away from the stage, they looked like a$$. Maybe I'll get lucky and be closer this time.

We were about 5-10 feet away from the stage. Right up front. That's good and band. The good is seeing the show that close up. The bad part is we were getting stage sound rather than house sound, so Janick Jers was louder in the mix than almost anyone else, as we were on his side of the stage.

He was actually spot on and played some choice guitar solos. His stage presence wasn't bad at all IMO. I've seen Maiden in the past when Janick was dancing around and I thought it looked a bit odd. On this show he was still very animated but did less "dancing". He banged his head, kept putting his feet up on the monitors, etc.

meh, she's ok. and as far as what that is, who cares? i mean, just because of who she is, you all are obsessing over her nipple? news flash lmao; you're on the INTERNET. go and browse some PORN. or just go and take a cold SHOWER. and as for her band, they are what they are, and i believe that if they sucked that badly, Bruce and the rest of the band would've said something to Harris, by now lol

Awesome - I should have bought Pit tickets for the June 18th show, but 2 of the people I am going with didn't want to stand in PIT

I will go on June 16, so I will share some pics of the show
