Have I denied it? I might be a metal warrior, but I wield the Mighty Pork Sword of Pain.

I actually like Framing Armaggedon. Sure, there's a lot of story line stuff and interludes, but it makes it epic. There's still some quality metal in there.

I was afraid of this. I am getting into Iced Earth as I type this. The first IE I heard was with Ripper singing. Now I am hearing Barlow on the Alive in Athens DVD and I wonder why he is "the voice" of the band. I think Ripper is better as of now. Maybe as I delve a little deeper I'll like Barlow better, but now he sounds a little middle of the road and average to me.

Check out Barlow's first I.E. album, BURNT OFFERINGS (1995) -- by far their heaviest, nastiest recording. Jon Schaffer (I.E. guitarist/tyrannical overlord) has gone on record as saying he hates that album nowadays for some odd reason but I think it's one of their best. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I got Burnt Offerings from MG about a year ago and traded it within a week. I don't care much for that one. But I like the first 2 with the other vocalist(s).

You didn't dig BURNT huh? That's one of my fave IE's. Diff'rent strokes I guess. But yea, NIGHT OF THE STORMRIDER is a great one. The first album, I can take or leave. The music's great but the singer sounds like David Wayne with a severe head cold. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
