| Alright, they just had Harry Kalas introduce the Phillies lineup.
That just made me remember why I hated this team.
Harry is great for NFL films but when he's shilling for the Phillies, I hate him. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| That game sucked. Furcal with a big error? That never happens, and it's not a good sign. |

| Another game that sucked!
Man, all year long Billingsley was the hard luck loser for LA. He finally gets some run support and he has an awful outing.
I hate to say it but it looks like the Phillies will be in the WS.
Man, if Boston beats Tampa, I'm going to have to pull for the Phillies and that will be painful. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Just a casual fan. My Dad played semi pro ball back in the day. I got to catch a Yankees/Red Sox game at Fenway last time I was in Boston, That would be the highlight of my baseball adventures. | |

| I'm glad that the Dodgers won the game last night. I thought it was pretty bush league how the Phillies pitched Russel Martin high and inside last night. The Phillies had the 2-0 advantage in the series, yet one would think they were the team down 2-0 in the series regarding that B.S! It's not the Dodgers fault that the Phillies were relying on the 45 year old arm of Jamie Moyer. The Phillies should have seen the writing on the wall, when the Brewers chased him from game 3 of the NLDS. I'm a Brewers fan, and we hadn't chased any starter from the game in weeks, so it told me that Jamie Moyer doesn't have much left in the tank for this year. All that being said, I don't care who wins this series...just show some class Philly! At least Shane Victorino somewhat understood why the Dodgers came at him. He did the right thing, by stating, that if you're going to come after me, just don't come at my head. | |

| Well, like most baseball games, it never quite gets to the fighting stage. In typical baseball fashion, the benches cleared, and you have coaches holding players back, and you also have the typical assistant coach jawing (which was Davey Lopes for the Phillies, and Mariano Duncan of the Dodgers) at each other. The Phillies were definitely in the wrong on this one, especially being the team who was up in the series. It's the team who is usually down 2-0 in the series who comes in high on tight at that teams star. I don't know what message the Phillies were sending. Funny how the Phillies were up like 8-1 in game two, and you didn't see this type of response from the Dodgers. | |

Its playoff time and if that would've happened to Martin in Philly he would've reacted totally different imo. He was being a baby about the incident and going about his business the wrong way. Your adreneline is pumping be a man and take the pitch. The pitch behind Manny slipped you could see it in replay mode. All in all it was a good game for the Phillies even if they lost it. The Phillies are a team that relies on fire and they play much better when a team lights one. Look for a huge blow out today even with Lowe pitching | |

| While I was growing up in PA, I HATED the Phillies. Harry Kallas and Richie Ashburn would hype of the most sucky of teams as being the best. This was during the Willie Montenez, Mike Schmidt, Larry Bowa, Garry Maddox, Greg Luzinski type years. I hated the Phillies. Since then I've lived in 5 other states and not being exposed to the Philly broadcasters' hyperbole has somewhat cooled my hatred of the Philadelphia Phillies. But I'm still rooting for the Dodgers. Only way I'm pulling for the Phils is if Boston is their opponent. I HATE New England teams! _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Actually, speaking from a painfully objective standpoint, Philly vs either AL team should make for a great series. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Congratulations Phillies. If you play Tampa, I hope you roll them. As a Brewers fan, I'm actually proud of the fact that they got just as many wins against the Phillies as the Dodgers did. | |

That was a bullpen collapse worthy of the Cardinals. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
