| I wish Vinnie could just release something new, or even something old. He recorded a third VVI album that was never officially released. What ever happened to Guitarmageddon? _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| Is that the one he took preorder money from fans, and never gave them the album, then kept the money. |

| JEEBUS!!! Nobody needs to be that close to Vinnie's ugly mug!! And I'd like to also point out the name of the album is Kiss My Ankh, yet there is no ankh on the cover? I know that his make-up design is probably owned by Gene, but geez, couldn't they have been a little more creative with that cover? | |

| It could be good, or it could be a disaster, but I'm with Ult. I'd much rather see Vinnie release something himself rather than a tribute album. I usually pass on these sorts of things. | |

OK, I went to the website of SplitScreen and apparently the "Official Artwork" hasn't been released yet. I will keep the above comments in check until the real artwork is revealed, then I will bag on that. Officially.

| No official artwork? Artists not confirmed? That's the perfect opportunity for a press release! |

Really, the project was just a thought by some intern fan-boy at Split Screen. They'll work out all the details later. It's called "Building Anticipation"

| Following in the footsteps of all latter day Vinnie Vincent projects, SideShow Entertainment is proud to announce the possibility of a Vinnie Vincent tribute album or single or something you may be able to buy, but there is a distinct possibility that it may not hopefully happen maybe not ever. Stay tuned for further details! |

| This just in... Due to the increasing decline of the record industry, threatened legal action from Gene Simmons' team of lawyers and a poor showing at the craps table in Atlantic City last weekend, SideShow Entertainment has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Thanks to all the loyal Vinnie Vincent fans that supported us for the last 2 weeks with enough money to buy lunch with their payments sent for pre-orders of an album we never intended to release. So long, suckers!! | |

This pretty cool, but more than anything Id like to see his two unreleased albums released offically, and new material as well. Hopefully, if anything this tribute will make him realize he's missed and encourage him to come back for good.

I'm with Ult here, I'd love to see Guitars From Hell offically released, along with Guitarmageddon, it's been too long, and he's a great guitarist, he needs to make his damn comeback already. The one he took the preorder for was a proposed boxset that was supposed to have Guitars From Hell, Guitarmageddon, and the VVI live album that was never released alongside a bunch of demos. Eventually, I got my money back. Id've much rather gotten the boxset though. Of course now I have alot of it on cdr bootlegs, and its GREAT stuff, instead of this tribute thats what they should be working on releaseing. Sorry for the multi posts, but I cant quite figure out how to quote more than one in a post.

| Does anyone know what Vinnie is actually up to these days? There seems to be alot of talk about him releasing old material, but is actually working on NEW material? And not to totally hi-jack this thread, but if we're talking about guitarists that are MIA, where is Jake E. Lee these days? He crawled out from under a rock somewhere, put out that covers album a few years ago, then dropped off the planet again. | |

| Yay, yet another tribute album I wonder if this one will feature the same 'unsigned singers club' that seems to appear on every other hard rock tribute album in existence (particularly the Cleopatra-released ones) - y'know Jizzy Pearl, Stevie Rachelle, Joe LeSte, Phil Lewis, Steve Summers, etc. Frankly, I'd rather have some new (or unreleased old) material from Vinnie. | |
