Respect your opinion but to me they are still MISFITS, even without Danzig. The obscurity and darkness is gone but they still have some great MISFITS songs.

My favorite was Danzig IV.

I am super burnt out on him though. To the point that I may never listen to him again.

The only Danzig I like is his Misfits stuff. I like some of the post-Danzig Misfits too but his vox were what made the Misfits unique IMO.

The Misfits released two good albums w/o Danzig - AMERICAN PSYCHO and FAMOUS MONSTERS. (oh, and the CUTS FROM THE CRYPT odds and sods collection makes three I guess).

However, the PROJECT 1950 disc was a godawful mess!

most people here do agree with you on this subject. for me however, the Danzig era Misfits are very special. nothing can compare.
