Yup. What he said. Megadeth > Metallica

was always simple for me, megadeth always ruled my cd player. only 'tallica albums I like were ride the lightning and justice.

To me it doesnt matter how many Megadeth albums are put out and if they have stuck to there roots which they didnt for a few cds. It matters about the quality of the music they put out and that will always go to Metallica. Metallica released 5 straight masterpieces in my mind and that is something Megadeth hasnt done imo.

I love the more melodic Megadeth over the technical thrash Deth.

I like both Metallica and Mega Deth, but I always liked Mega Deth
better than Metallica, I can relate more to Megadeth on a lyrical level
than Metallica, and overall I think Dave Mustaine is better songwriter,
also Mustaine did co wrote most of the songs on " Kill 'em All", that
being said this debate is beating a bloated dead horse, yet i still
manage throw my two cents, go figure.

metallicas song writing is far superior to megadeths even though i am a big fan of both. metallica always ruled my cd player while megadeth did not. i mean if you compare kill em all to killing is my business then it is clear which is better. kill em all is a classic heavy metal album that changed metal for ever while killing is my business is a rushed poorly produced typical thrash album - its still a good album but not in the same league

MetallicA hasn't put out a good record (IMO) since 1988. Megadeth's only failure (IMO) is Risk. United Abominations is a great release! I think it stands up very well to anything MetallicA has put out in the last 20ish years.

See, I love each of those albums except for Risk. I guess it all boils down to opinion. Of course, being a Megadeth fanboy makes my responses a little biased.

'Risk' has some good songs on it...but everything after that has been complete cruise control...coma metal..

I really like both The System Has Failed and United Abominations. I listened to them both yesterday. I guess either you like them or you don't.

Not to get of the subject, I'd love to see the 2 bands do a project together. It would make Metal history that would never be forgotten!-TJ

If they couldn't stay together to record Kill 'Em All in the first place...I don't see this happening.

I think it would be more fun to see Kirk do a guest appearance with Exodus.
