Someone claiming to be Tony Moore just posted the following at Rock Island.

That would be awesome, If they can make something even half as good as Thundersteel!!
But if they stick with the style of their latest albums, I don`t really think Tony Moore will make a big difference.

Listening to Thundersteel yesterday and today. Great album, great band.

I though Mike Tirelli was ment to be the new vocalist with these awile back ? he does session with them doesn't he ?

I think this is cool news I still prefer those earlier Riot albums.

RIOT's latest CD, "Army of One", was released in in Japan on July 17, 2006 via the Toshiba-EMI label. The CD came out in Europe in October 2006 via Metal Heaven.

RIOT's most recent touring lineup included singer Mike Tirelli (MESSIAH'S KISS, HOLY MOTHER, BURNING STARR), who replaced Mike DiMeo due to DiMeo's commitments with MASTERPLAN and THE LIZARDS (also featuring drummer Bobby Rondinelli of BLUE ÖYSTER CULT/BLACK SABBATH/RAINBOW fame).

This is really awesome news, especially after hearing the death knell of Trouble over the weekend.

I got an email this morning from my best friend stating the same. Im looking forward to it!
