Whether it is IE with or without Barlow, MANY of us love Iced Earth. What would you all consider your top 10 Iced Earth songs?

The only their album I owned for a brief time was Burnt Offerings, and the only song I remember is Dante's Inferno, so you can count me in with it. IE is one band I never got into and still a real mystery to me why people dig it so much (except for Greeks, they are crazy and love everything .

Burnt Offerings rules!!! Probably my second or third favorite IE album.

Well, I'm a MAJOR Iced Earth fan. I love all their albums. I still don't have their latest, but I've purchased every studio album from them.

Agreed. There's this bitter, aggressive quality to it that was really only present on that album. Definitely one of my all time favourite albums.

Count me in as one who loves "Burnt Offerings" too. It's probably my 2nd fave I.E. disc (right behind SOMETHING WICKED), though I'm told that Jon Schaffer himself isn't very fond of it. I was kinda bummed when I saw 'em in 2002 and BURNT OFFERINGS was the lone album that went unrepresented in the set list.

Yeah, Jon's very reluctant to play stuff from it. I think it was because he associates it too much with 'negative energy', as the album was the result of a long conflict with Century Media, I think. I've seen him say bad things about Burnt Offerings, which is strange as I know a lot of people who think it's IE's best effort.
