| As we all know, Queen were one hell of a band. They were lavish to the bone, and it came out through their music. What They are my favorite non-metal band, and im still working on collecting their seventies albums (I need news of the world and jazz). I'm on a Queen high right now, i just came home from the musical "We Will Rock You." Any big fans? Freddie Mercury Fanatics? What albums do you own buy them? Just post anything about Queen here. |

| I've never been a fan. They were a little "light on their feet" for me. That's the best way to describe my disdain. |

| Love Queen! I have all of their albums right now on my computer. I haven't listened to them all yet, but all of their albums from "Queen I" through "The Game" are pure gold, after that it gets a bit sketchy, but there are great songs on all of those post "The Game" discs. My favorite album of theirs is probably "News of the World", I used to listen to "News..." every morning on my paper route, ah good times. | |

| I like them pretty well.
I have Greatest Hits I and II, Jazz, the game, A night at the opera, news of the world. I have the majority of them on vinyl as well.
I just got Made in Heaven in the mail from ebay but the disc is cracked and it was in a Rolling Stones case. I asked for my money back and got a huge speech about how I was a crappy buyer but they were sending my money back anyway. I still haven't gotten the money, they left me positive feedback and just got an email asking for me to leave them feedback. What a jerk. |

You will take whatever they give you, even if it is cracked! Pretty crappy. |

| Yeh it was pretty disappointing, basically the cd looked like the kind of thing you'd be lucky to get .25 for at a yard sale. |

| Does the cd work?? Do all the songs play without skipping? Personally, i would say the best Queen album is Queen 2! That album is a masterpiece, and i dont throw around that term often. |

| It does work BUT i paid far to much for it to look like something the dog dug up in the yard. plus with no inserts I might as well have downloaded it and burnt it. |

| All of Queen's 7 albums in the 70's are classic. They touched on so many different styles of music and made it their own, at times they had a great cinematic feel too their music. But for those who think Queen are a bit "light on their feet", then you should think again. Queen's heavy metal pedigree is often overlooked (usually the album tracks that weren't singles). They had great heavy dirge like songs ala Black Sabbath and pioneered speed metal in the 70's, you couldn't get faster then select Queen songs in the 70's apart from the Damned and Motorhead. The first album is a monster and in my opinion one of the greatest metal albums ever. Here's a list of Queen's heaviest metal songs and the albums their off, looking at it it's a bit jarring but mixed with Queen's brilliant ballads it makes for some of the best music. Queen - Great King Rat Queen - Liar Queen - Modern Times Rock N' Roll Queen - Son And Daughter Queen - Jesus Queen - Keep Yourself Alive Queen II - Ogre Battle Queen II - Father To Son Sheer Heart Attack - Brighton Rock Sheer Heart Attack - Stone Cold Crazy A Night At The Opera - Death On Two Legs A Night At The Opera - Sweet Lady A Day At The Races - Tie Your Mother Down A Day At The Races - White Man News Of The World - Sheer Heart Attack News Of The World - It's Late Jazz - Let Me Entertain You Jazz - Dead On Time | |

| Queen is most excellent. Well, mainly their first four albums. Their overall work is good up to past The Game. |

I do. It's fantastic, a return to form after their more pop output of the 80's. IMO. | |

| Yeah, it's a great album. On that album, they further incorporate their progressive tendencies like they did in the seventies. |

| I was a big fan of QUEEN. When I had my record collection, I had all of their 70's releases plus "The Game"... Queen (1973) Queen II (1974) Sheer Heart Attack (1974) A Night At The Opera (1975) A Day At The Races (1976) News Of The World (1977) Jazz (1978) Live Killers (1979) The Game (1980) Freddie Mercury was an incredibly talented singer, probably in my Top 10 of any. I never saw them live, but some of my favorite songs were... "Father To Son" "Some Day, One Day" "Seven Seas Of Rhye" "Killer Queen" "Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon" "The Prophet's Song" "Doing All Right" "Keep Yourself Alive" "Death On Two Legs" "39" "Long Away" "All Dead, All Dead" "Play The Game" "Sheer Heart Attack" "Another One Bites The Dust" "You're My Best Friend" |
