| Yo Zombie...Bob will back me up on this...if you're going for a smaller rig and are looking at the Line 6's be sure to check out the Spider Valve, you can get it in a 2x12. Those things are killer and very inexpensive in the big scheme of things. They were designed by Bogner and they run on tube power but with all of the digital effects and modeling that L6 made their name with. Powerful enough for live duty but also the direct XLR out for studio recording. We both tried out the head version and were blown away by them. Check 'em out at Musician's Friend:

Thanks. I really like how that cover came out. We changed it up a bit, deleted a chorus, changed up the solo section, etc., but otherwise, we stuck pretty close to the original arrangement. Great song to begin with. Awesome solo section. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

We wish we could get out the East Coast, but's a bit to costly for us as we don't tour and one-off shows are a bit expensive. You never know though. It could happen in the future. I'd personally love to play NYC, Philly and Trenton. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

I'd personally love to play NYC, Philly and Trenton. I wonder if a two-week mini tour might be possible? If everyone coordinated to get some time off and you got some shows booked in a cogent manner, it might be possible to fly out, rent a van for the gear, and rip up the east coast before flying back. I officially nominate MetalGuy71 as the tour manager/coordinater for the whole delicious mess.

If the band plays Philly, I'll treat them to hoagies, soft pretzels and Tastykakes.

Nothing like coming out of a concert completely famished and seeing one of those pretzel guys outside the Spectrum (or whatever they are calling it these days). _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

Yup, it's still the Spectrum and there are still the pretzel vendors out on the street. But now you have the added bonus of walking past strippers handing out "free admission" cards to the local Gentlemen's Clubs in the area. By the way, Ult, this is the last season for the Spectrum. It is being torn down in '09 to make way for a hotel that will be part of an entertainment complex being built. Lotsa good concert and sports memories in that place.

I am looking forward to anything that Ultimatum will do on the future. Now that they improved on the production their music is much more appreciated and enjoyable.

| ult,
are there any other demos of songs that you haven't officially recorded that you may release in demo form one day, like as bonus tracks on the covers album? |

| Well, most of our unreleased demo stuff has been released a bonus tracks on the Symphonic and Mechanics reissues. There are two other songs from our very first demo (Fatal Delay) that didn't make the Symphonic CD.
The Into the Pit demos were released on that limited edition EP call "til the End!". That EP also contained our Testament cover and a live track.
There is a new version of "Mortal Stomp" that was recorded this year that will eventually see light of day on the next CMR compilation. It's titled "Mortal Stomp '08". Creative title, huh?
We have played a few songs live that never made it to any Ultimatum record. There was a song called "Chalk Time" that is on the Live Extremities bootleg. Also, we use to do a song called "Never Too Young" around 1993 that never was recorded. There are a few others as well. When we were going through old video tapes for the DVD we discovered some old songs we had forgotten about that were never recorded.
I have old practice tapes, rough mixes and pre-production songs that will probably never see release as well, unless Retroative wants to release one of those odds and sods releases like they did for Deliverance. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!
