| Grunge, like nu-metal, isn't real. It's alt-metal/rock. Nothing more. But a new name was needed to sell it to the public. Nirvana doesn't sound like Pearl Jam. Mother Love Bone sounds like neither of them, too. I feel the same way about glam. I think of glam as a look, not a musical style. |

thank you sir! one of the higlights of my music career thus far was opening for coal chamber. true story... me and a friend of mine started the band specificaly to work our way up to doing shows with our favorite band at the time. a few years of ass-busting later we were doing it. along with some others we really dug, like orgy, mushroomhead, bile, american head charge... even gwar... some good times. =) |

PLEEEASE, DO YOU HAVE TO SAY THAT ALL, LOUD AND PROUD?! Why not? I'm not ashamed of my taste in music. To care what others think of you is a sign of 'insecurity' is it not? Besides if people think my taste in music sucks, that's their problem. I just enjoy what I enjoy and that's that. I like everything from black metal to power metal to goth and industrial. |

Pagan's Mind, Nightwish, Leaves' Eyes, Sodom, Kreator, etc. However, darkwave/industrial/synthpop is my second fave genre!!! So I kinda fit in between. Glad to have ya here. I love being able to talk about darkwave stuff (very few people here have much of any appreciation for this stuff). You can feel free to visit my board too (pm me if you want the link). We talk about a lot of variety in music there). |
