| But what is your favorite of these?
I know some people consider Strange Wings a ballad, but I think it's a mid tempo rocker, so it wasn't included. Don't shoot me.

| Good topic! There are so many. The first one I thought of when I saw the topic was "Stay". It's also the only one I can passably play on the guitar. But it's not listed, probably because it's a non-album track.
Out on the Streets is awesome, as is Believe, which is a masterpiece. And most of the others are great too, plus many other Jon Oliva's Pain and OLIVA tracks.
It's too hard to choose, so I went with my gut feeling of Stay and picked Other.

| I've always liked Believe a lot. So that gets my vote. | |

| I went with If I Go Away, we played that at my mother's memorial service. But they're all good. Definitely the band that wrote the best ballads, imo. - Lari wrote:

I know the the records with Criss on them much better. I'm not sure exactly when Stay was recorded, but it's on my copy of Hall of the Mountain King, and it's written by Criss. I think it must have been a part of the Streets sessions.

| I have "This Is Where You Should Be" on my Magellan. That one is also a great power ballad. | |

| When the Crowds Are Gone has the best lyrics. Real incredible stuff. Packs emotion.
"Believe" isn't really even a ballad. It's a miniature epic. Maybe a ballad in the sense of a classic poem.

| I voted for All That I Bleed but I could have easily picked Alone you Breathe or When the Crowds are Gone. | |

Does Kmorg still care about metal? Just asking. he never seemed like the kind of guy that would wake up one day and not like it. Maybe he thought he was online too much and wanted to be with his family more. Who knows?
