It's from the early 80s. Sly is a cab driver in NYC and Dolly Parton is a country singer, she makes a bet with her manager that she can "turn anyone into a country singer" in 30 days, and she picks Sly when he crashes his cab in front of the nightclub where she works. It's REALLY dumb but it's one of those movies I found funny when I was in junior high back in the day and I still chuckle at it today... OK, there goes whatever little is left of my metal street cred, I guess...

Did anyone seen Supergroup with Sebastian, Ted Nugent, Jason Bonham and Scott Ian on VH1? It was HILARIOUS!!! Hahaha. Sebastian was being such a drama queen and causing problems for everyone! "Supergroup" was a hilarious show. I wish they'd release that on DVD. Every time I watched that show my opinion of Sebastian Bach eroded a little bit more after watching yet another display of his infantile behavior.
Sebastian's wife has gotta be a saint to have put up with that guy for so long. (P.S. she's pretty hot too.) I thought that song they wrote together kicked. I was hoing to hear some more music from them. |

"Supergroup" was a reality show that aired on VH1 here in the U.S. last year. They stuck a bunch of very different musicians in a house in Las Vegas (Ted Nugent, Scott Ian from Anthrax, Evan Seinfeld from BioHazard, John Bonham, and Sebastian Bach) and the idea was that they had two weeks to come up with some original tunes before performing a live concert on the Vegas strip. It was truly hilarious stuff. Virtually from the first episode, Bach's prima-donna attitude had everybody in the house wanting to kill him. Evan Seinfeld did eventually punch him out.

Scott Ian and Ted Nugent are pretty killer on that show. But as for Evan Seinfeld, the show didn't portray him in a particularly fond light. |

I figure he only did the show to get some free publicity for her. On a related note, my brother met Evan a while back and asked him about the punch-out between him and Sebastian Bach on the show, Evan laughed it off and sez "Nah, it looked worse than it really was, he was bein' stoopid so I just shoved him a little, we were friends again the next day"

I dunno, Evan has definitely got the size/weight advantage... my brother said he is one intimidating lookin' dude... I wouldn't want to get walloped by him, that's for sure.
