Fight's "CHRISTMAS RIDE" avail for free download

I already mentioned this in the thread for Halford's holiday album, but in case ya missed it, Rob is offering a free download of the rare Fight holiday tune, "Christmas Ride" (originally found only on a promo/fan club CD single released in the early '90s) from his web site. The freebie will be available during this "Black Friday" weekend only (thru Nov. 29th). Check it out here:

No problemo Manny... word to the wise, the site will probably make you set up an account with them in order to download the track (it did that with me when I went there to get his last freebie, a track from the new holiday album) which is a bit of a pain in the ass cuz then you'll get e-mails from the site all the time pimping Metal God gear, but what the hell, it's free.

Maybe he should have offered that as a bonus track on his new album. Just a thought.

I don't think you need iTunes. I downloaded it as an MP3 right to my music folder.

It seems that ole Rob's fascination with holiday music goes back even further than "Christmas Ride" (who knew?) -- his web site is now selling a download of "Silent Night" that Rob recorded in 1992, prior to "Xmas Ride"
