New Annihilator - Ballistic, Sadistic

Still not as twisty as the first two, but I'll say this for him, he's consistent. Got a cool Slipknot mid-section.

Really does nothing for me, think I'll be passing on this one.

The last few Annihilator albums have been a bit boring for me. After a couple of listens, they became dust collectors on my shelves.

This song has lots of potential imo. Let's wait and see.

The music is good, but I don’t like Jeff doing the vocals.

I doubt he’d stay with the band more than a few albums. He seems to have trouble sticking with anything long term.

So he'd fit in with Annihilator, they can't keep a vocalist long term either.

That last guy Dave Padden seemed to be with the band several years.

Padden was in the band 11 years and performed on 5 albums.

True, he did last with them. I just don't love those albums, a couple are good but I end up listening to older stuff.

I lost track of Annihilator ages ago. I think the last album I liked was Waking the Fury.

New stuff sounds OK but not in an "OMG I must own this immediately!" kinda way

I just ordered my copy on Amazon .

Gave the album a first spin yesterday. One of Annihilator's finest releases in years. Not one bad track. Didn't feel the need to press the skip button once .
