Not sure what it is about the production you guys are hearing, so I was able to enjoy the album without difficulty. This is only my second Wildhearts album but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Every song is catchy and memorable.
Then you should investigate the Wildhearts, Ginger Wildheart, Hey! Hello! catalogue. Ginger Wildheart is my favorite songwriter out there; if you've enjoyed the two albums you have then definitely check out the rest of The Wildhearts stuff and also Ginger's solo albums. Hey! Hello! is more or less Ginger's "power pop/punk" band.
Oh, and be forewarned, the last couple Ginger Wildheart albums have been more "country" (at least that's what he calls it; to me a slide-guitar and fiddle in the instrumentation does not a country album make), but you should for sure check out his "100%" and "Year Of The Fan Club" albums. They contain gems like this:
Don't forget Silver Ginger 5. =)

I haven't picked up any of Ginger's solo stuff or the Silver Ginger 5. I'll be looking into those albums too.

Picked up a couple from Goodwill, which is rare:
-Ramones- Greatest Hits Live (s' ok) Also, I never saw the Ramones live unfortunately, so I can't attest to how it sounds in person and I'm sure some here can, but on live recordings, it feels like the songs are always sped up like half a beat at least versus the records. To my ears. I'm very familiar with all their albums, and the live stuff sounds like it's played faster.
and
-Organized Konfusion- The Equinox (any other hip hop fans here? 90s classic that I used to have and had not heard in at least 15 year or more, really good)

I notice that on a lot of Maiden's later live albums. I just assume it's to shorten the run time.

Been over 10 years. I assume they're done. I know the drummer had to retire due to tendonitis from years of playing incorrectly. It's too bad, because I loved the hard rock direction of Bitchin'. Such a great album. The two new songs on their greatest hits albums were in a similar style, and just as good.

These guys have been on a roll lately (since they dropped all the electronic sounds and put a lot more variety in their music), looking forward to this one
Last one was great, high hopes for this one.
Have yet to not love an Eclipse album, let's see if that love continues.
