Yea, I see that. I hate ep's, but 6 new songs are better than nothin'. Luckily I have some Amazon Christmas gift cards burning a hole in my pocket!
Only 6 songs, but it's 41 minutes of tasty Deep Purple-esque jams. Love it!!

The Answer - Rise (special edition with bonus 2nd CD and true to the band's form, it's a whole lot more than "radio edits", "acoustic versions" and "live". 11 of the 15 bonus tracks are studio cuts not on any other album.

Made my first purchases of the new year last night at the local thrift shop:

Odd thing. On my way home from work last night, I was listening to a mix of random Green Day songs and I thought "I should probably add some more Green Day". Then lo and behold, 3 discs that I needed were there at the shop for .99 cents each. I also found their Greatest Hits, but alas, the jewel case was empty. Same thing happened with Dream Theater's Awake album. Case, but no disc. Oh well.
Tonight on my way home, I'm gonna wish for a briefcase full of cash delivered by Scarlett Johansson. I'll let you know if my lucky streak continues.

Good grief; I love Warrior Soul but that album just plain sucks!!!! And it doesn't matter how many times I subject myself to listening to it, it's just terrible.

I'm the numero uno Warrior Soul Fanboy on this forum, but even I will only defend three tracks from Chill Pill: "Cargos of Doom," "Shock Um Down," and "Ha Ha Ha."
The rest of the album is poop... but it was poop on purpose. It was WS' last album for Geffen Records and Kory Clarke didn't want to see another collection of quality material go down the tubes, so they made a weird, artsy, totally non-commercial album, basically as a way to say "f*** you" to their label who had been no help to them whatsoever.
I must say, it was very punk rock of them to cut their own throats like that.
