Cards beat the Reds 3-1 today so I'm watching game 5 of the NHL Final.

Watching the Cubs start hammering St. Louis pitching here in the 6th.

I was watching that too until I couldn't take it anymore and switched over to UFC prelims on ESPN.

I don't know who STL management thought they were kidding with this starting staff; a re-tread from the Korean leagues, two kids with practically no MLB experience and an aging veteran.  That's a starting rotation?  Not in this division.  I was hoping the Cardinals would land Dallas Keuchel but sadly that didn't happen and we're stuck with what we have.

Bottom line: In this division of MLB, the Cardinals, as constructed now, will finish in third place at best.

NCAA Women's Track and Field Championships.

Amazingly good meet with a lot of NCAA records, World Leading times, and all around amazing performances.

I'm watching Game 5 of the NBA Finals now and hoping to see Toronto win it all!

Cardinals were getting smoked so I'm watching game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final.  2-0 Blues after 1.

I just saw the St. Louis Blues beat the Boston Bruins 4-1 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final.

For the first time ever, St. Louis won the Stanley Cup.

I had to work. I missed the game but did see the highlights. Congrats to the Blues!!

Last night, I saw the Toronto Raptors defeat the Golden State Warriors to win their first NBA championship!

Watching the Cardinals vs Mets.

This has been one hell of a game because both teams' pitching sucks.  It's currently 8-5 STL going into the 9th.

EDIT:  Cards ended up beating the Mets 9-5.

Watching the Phillies and Braves.

Watched about 2 hours of the Stanley Cup Parade in downtown St. Louis.

An estimated 500,000 people were downtown.  The cool thing was that the actual parade took twice as long as it was supposed to because Blues players kept hopping off the floats and cars to take pics with people and sign autographs. 

The whole thing from parade to "rally" lasted almost 4 hours.

Watched the Dodgers beat the Cubs 3 to 2.

I was watching that too after watching St. Louis beat the Mets 4-3 despite only getting 3 hits.   Watching local news now.

Watched the Giants and Dodgers last night.

Watched the Cardinals shut out the Marlins 5-0.

Watched the Dodgers beat the Giants 9-2.

Watching the Braves and Nationals.

Watching the Angels @ Cardinals.  First time Albert Pujols has been in a game in STL since he signed with the Angels 7 1/2 years ago.   His first time up he got a standing O for over a minute and it only stopped because Pujols stepped into the batter's box, swung at the first pitch and flied out.

Watched the Cardinals beat the Angels again 4-2.

The most interesting thing was with STL leading 4-0 in the 7th, Albert Pujols hit a solo homer...AND RECEIVED A STANDING OVATION AND CURTAIN CALL!  Remember, he's an Angel these days.

I don't think I've ever seen that before but he deserves it.  He gave Cardinal fans 11 years of historically great performance and I'm sure he's a first-ballot HoFer once he retires.

I was wondering myself if a visiting player over got a curtain call after homering. Pretty cool.

I was pretty bitter when Pujols took more money over staying with the Cardinals.  But in the intervening years, he's still maintained a house here and still comes back to do charity work multiple times every year so I think most of us Cardinal fans have gotten over the fact that he left.  Now we just appreciate the 11 years of excellence we got to see on a nightly basis.

Now watching Houston @ NY.  Man, the Yankees are just a STACKED lineup.  If they get any kind of starting pitching at all they should run away with the AL championship and probably the World Series.

Watched the Pirates beat the Padres 6-3 in a game they were lucky to win.
