| So many great movies. Here are some more I love: Pet Cemetary Cujo Two Evil Eyes Carrie Christine Children Of The Corn Night Of The Creeps Critters (well, maybe not so much horror as comedy, but still great fun!) The Driller Killer Children Of The Damned (Yes, I love Stephen King adaptions) _________________ | |

(Yes, I love Stephen King adaptions) Haha, Driller Killer. That one usually has such a bad reputation but I love it too. Ever see the director's (Abel Ferrara) next film -- Ms. 45? Very creepy, bizarre rape/revenge flick. The main character is raped TWICE, by two different men, in two different locations (and that's only the first 20 mins.) Night of the Creeps is another one of my favorites. Where is the damn DVD already!?! |

| I am ashamed to admit I have not seen THE DESCENT yet...I loved the director's first film DOG SOLDIERS....but have put off on this one as I have heard it's not so good.....
Other faves not mentioned yet:
MARTIN (1978 Romero vampire film)
THE SLAYER (rare 80's movie was on double feature vhs with the film SCALPS....extremely creepy and cool fx)
SILENT NIGHT DEADLY NIGHT (Linnea Quigly gets her boobs out yet again.....)
SOCIETY (WTF horror from the REANIMATOR dude) _________________ "Oh man, I need TV? When I got T Rex"

SOCIETY (WTF horror from the REANIMATOR dude) All great movies there!! however, I didn't think much of THE SLAYER. Kinda boring. I remember that 2-in-1 VHS you're talking about, with SCALPS. I used to have it. I gotta say, as bad as SCALPS is, I think it's the better film.. Here's some mo' of my favs The Burning Last House on Dead End Street I Drink Your Blood Pieces The Prowler Tenebre Beyond the Darkness Brain Damage Clownhouse Rocktober Blood Zombie Nightmare Eaten Alive (Tobe Hooper) Class Reunion Massacre I Spit on Your Grave Slaughterhouse Anguish The Pit Don't Go in the Woods Street Trash Bad Dreams Madman Sleepaway Camp 1 and 2 Happy Birthday to Me Slaughter High |

| STREET TRASH is awful great fun....the keep away scene is priceless
THE PROWLER is an underated slasher classic....
I thought the creature in THE SLAYER was very cool...had you gotten to see it for more than like 6 seconds at the end of the film....
let's list more:
BLOOD SALVAGE (craptastic good fun)
BLOOD BEACH
ALONE IN THE DARK (not the video game based turd with Christian Slater)
DEATHDREAM
TRUTH OR DARE (not the Madonna flick)
THE CELL (I love this flick!!)
SANTA SANGRE _________________ "Oh man, I need TV? When I got T Rex"

Grrrrreat movie! When I bought my first DVD player six or seven years ago, this was the first DVD I bought to play in it. The visuals are fantastic, and J-Lo actually approaches competency as an actress as well! | |

| Agreed...visually fantastic....
Put in a cool dark cd and turn the sound off on your TV and it's like some weird music video....visualy fantastic...
If you liked that I strongly suggest you track down SANTA SANGRE....a weird retelling of PSYCHO....sort of. _________________ "Oh man, I need TV? When I got T Rex"

SANTA SANGRE More good 'uns! Well, I haven't seen BLOOD SALVAGE but the rest are great. OK well, TRUTH OR DARE: A CRITICAL MADNESS is kinda crappy but I enjoyed it somewhat. Ever see the director's next film, KILLING SPREE? More low-budget gory mayhem but a bit better paced than ToD. SANTA SANGRE is another great, weird acid trip of a film.. And yeah, I agree. The Slayer is quite terrifying looking.. A shame they didn't give it more screen time. Here's a few more sickies I enjoy Don't Open till Christmas Tombs of the Blind Dead Redneck Zombies The Final Terror Blood Diner Zombie The Majorettes Ilsa, She-Wolf of the SS Make Them Die Slowly (aka Cannibal Ferox) Phenomena The Toxic Avenger Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers Killer Party Scarecrows House on Sorority Row The Outing The Executioner Psychos in Love New York Ripper Hell of the Living Dead The Deadly Spawn Dead and Buried Chopping Mall Luther the Geek Superstition There's Nothing Out There Unhinged |

LUTHER THE GEEK awesome film....just plain funky..... Actually, SCARECROWS has gotten an official DVD release just this past September. I found it at an FYE but held off on it, deciding I'd get it later. When I returned a week later somebody had apparently bought their sole copy, as per my wonderful luck. I can't tell you how many times that's happened to me. Ya think I'd learn my lesson by now.. Haven't seen DEAD BIRDS... |

American Gothic (w/Rod Steiger and Yvonne DeCarlo) I'm not much a fan of THE CHANGELING but I love the rest. I really like MANIAC COP and HE KNOWS YOU'RE ALONE (but I'm a fan of most slasher movies, so...) I just got finished watching a back-to-back cheeseball double-bill of PSYCHOS IN LOVE and HOLLYWOOD CHAINSAW HOOKERS. I guess being October and all I'm in a huge horror mood, well, more than usual anyway. |

| THE CHANGELING gets so much praise and whatnot and really don't see why...it's quite frankly a mediocre piece...it has a few eerie sequences but for the most part it's dull....
You know what one of my faves of all time is...
amade for TV film from 1980-81 called DARK NIGHT OF THE SCARECROW....awesome film....
now that needs a dvd release..... _________________ "Oh man, I need TV? When I got T Rex"

| I'd like to get my hands on a copy of Lugosi's Mark of the Vampire.
I know it was released as part of a collection sometime back, but I would like to just have that single movie. I have only seen it once, years back on AMC. Nice movie. |

..a forgotten favorite. Other than NOTLD, my next favorite Romero film is The Crazies. I was so glad they finally released that on DVD about 5 years back. Great film. Romero's Season Of The Witch is another that I haven't seen on DVD yet that I would love to snag. |

| ROMERO's body of work is overall pretty solid....from THE CRAZIES up through BRUISER (I know alot of peeps hated it but I thought it was cool)....
LAND OF THE DEAD is the only mistep....and it is ot atrocious just not on par with the rest of the series. _________________ "Oh man, I need TV? When I got T Rex"
