As the revival of the classic ‘80s hard rock and heavy metal scene continues unabated here in the 21st century, one reunion has been at the top of the wishlists of many a fan for a long time: the songwriting combination of Tracii Guns and Philip Lewis under the L.A. Guns banner. What once seemed like a distant memory with no hope of returning has now come around and fans are about to be rewarded for keeping their fingers crossed and their hopes up. That’s right Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis are back together as L.A. Guns! Their new album “The Missing Peace” is set for release on October 13th via Frontiers Music Srl. I'm glad it's uptempo, and the guitar riff reminds me of early Def Leppard with Pete Willis.

Of all the new releases that came out (or coming soon) this year, I really have high hopes for this one. Just really looking forward to hearing Phil and Tracii back together again.

Ordered vicious circle a few days ago. Has some really heavy tunes.

That's one of my favorite albums of theirs. It got swept under the carpet during the whole grunge era of the 90's, but it's a killer album.

I kinda hate when bands release the songs like this..if the album is ready then release it already.. Looking to buy this album for sure...hopefully on vinyl.

What I've heard of the new album really surprised me. They truly went back to basics, which is a great idea. It's also rather quiet when compared to other modern releases, so perhaps they didn't brickwall this one?
And holy shit, Devil Made Me Do It sounds damn-near Metallica!

It sounds really good. Probably the best of all the reunion stuff here lately.
