I sort of know how you feel. I'm no fan of the Steelers either but I absolutely loathe and abhor the Patriots, almost as much as I now hate the "LA" Rams. It totally killed me to have to root for New England against the Rams. But that just made me realize how much I hate the Rams now.

Agreed, I'll be happy with either NFC team winning the Superbowl.

Toho: now that the Rams are in LA, which team do you root for throughout the regular season?

The Pats did fine against the Texans and clearly made the necessary adjustments at the half to beat them by 18 points. However, the Pats have been less than impressive in many games and one could argue they played a soft schedule.

The Steelers offense is suspect in the red zone and Big Ben is statistically terrible on the road this year. Just look at this stats for Sunday if you don't believe me. They are insanely talented on the offensive side of the ball, but their defense is suspect in some aspects - mediocre secondary, questionable against the run, etc...

I guess that leads me to look at the coaching and I will take Belichik all day long and twice on Sunday against Tomlin/Todd Haley.

History is working against the Steelers as well. Their last win in Foxboro was 11/30/08 and they've never beaten the Pats in a playoff game in Foxboro. Their two latest Super Bowl victories with Big Ben came about because they managed to avoid the Patriots. I doubt history really matters, but it's difficult to beat the Pats at home.

So what's this all add up to? Hell if I know! It's the NFL. Anything can happen! I just hope it's a good game.

I don't root for any team now. It's more like I root against teams. During the regular season I didn't watch a single NFL game, instead I watched NFL Red Zone every Sunday.

Sheesh...the trend of NFL post-season blowouts continues. Thank goodness for the Green Bay/Dallas game.

Finally! Green Bay is on the board.

Hopefully the AFC Championship is better.

Yeah even though I hate New England I'm sick to death of blowouts this post season.  I don't even want the Patriots to get clobbered; I just want a competitive game.

Green Bay's defense looks like a high school team against the Falcons. They can't stop anything.

Yeah, this is hard to watch. Atlanta definitely deserves to be in the Superbowl. They've been phenomenal this season.

It's extra hard for me to watch because I've enjoyed a lot of good sports contests this weekend. I watched a bunch of good NCAA basketball games yesterday and some competitive MMA fights last night.

And now this turkey...

Well now I'm just rooting for Atlanta to break 50.

Go Falcons! Since I hate the Steelers and Patriots, this is the best case scenario.

No kidding.  Another pathetic post-season game.

Other than the Green Bay / Dallas game which was great, the whole NFL post-season has been like this.  Blowout after blowout.

Time to watch Family Guy.

Good god did the Steelers d let them down. Did they even prepare for the game? What idiot decided that zone was the way to go?

Watched 2 terrible championship games. The Packers looked like a high school team against Atlanta. And the Steelers looked even worse against the Patriots.

That was the worst set of playoff games that I can remember. I hope the Superbowl ends up being a good game. But it seems like every year the NFL gets increasingly boring to watch. I'm not sure how many more seasons I'll be following.

The Super Bowl should be a good game. Atlanta is looking pretty tough.
