What SPORTS did you watch today? (2018)

New year, new thread. Tell us what sporting match ups you've recently enjoyed

Lots of good bowl matchups today besides the two semifinal games.  I'm especially looking forward to the Citrus Bowl matchup betweein LSU and Notre Dame because I always want Notre Dame to fail spectacularly.

Damn.  Notre Dame just scored a go-ahead TD with about a minute and a half left.

I watched the Winter Classic, Rangers @ Sabres.

Wow.  What was the temperature for that game?

Rose Bowl

Oklahoma vs Georgia.  I can't believe that these two storied programs have never played each other before today.

So apparently both these teams left the defenses at home.

Crap.  OK has hung up 31 points on Georgia in the first half.

EDIT:  This has been some game.  Georgia stormed back in the second half to take a 38-31 lead but OK just scored two TDs in less than 3 minutes to go up 45-38 with about 6 and a half minutes remaining.

EDIT2: And it's the first ever overtime Rose Bowl with the score tied 45-45.  What a game!

And it's over.  54-48 Georgia in double OT.  Absolutely great college football game.

Watching Louisville and Clemson in NCAA basketball. Currently in overtime.

Watching the AFC Wild Card game but I don't know why because I really couldn't care less. The game I'm really interested in is the second one with Atlanta against the hated Rams.

Marcus Mariota is the only player doing anything for Tennessee. He literally just threw a touchdown TO HIMSELF!

Wow, Tennessee is trying to find ways to lose this game.

This is somehow turning into a close game. It's hard to imagine either of these teams progressing any further than this round though with this level of play.

Watched the Titans and Chiefs game. Still shocked the Titans won that game. Getting ready to watch the Falcons and Rams.

What a great game!! Mariota "throws" a TD to himself, Henry runs all over the place. Woo!

I'm still upset with Atlanta for blowing the Superbowl and handing it to New England last year, so I'm a Rams fan for today only.

Toho, you got your wish. Pharoah Cooper was miserable. Poor guy, I remember that Niners return man a few years back (Williams?) who single-handedly killed it for them, and Cooper tried his best to do that as well, albeit with some help from his friends.

Definitely.  And it's really nothing against the coaches or the players.  It's all about my hatred of Stan Kroenke.
