Netflix needs to be bought out by McDonalds are something. That way they could possibly super size the seasons of their shows. 8-10 shows a season is...
Oh yeah, just finished Season 2 of "The Last Kingdom". The way it ended, made it seem unlikely there will be a season 3 ? One can hope for continuation, I enjoyed the show.

I wish I got ROH.
From what I read it's like a toned down version of ECW (which I used to love). Edgier than WWE but not as "out there" as ECW in its heyday.

Nothing. I threw my TV away 14 years ago, and have all kinds of time off the couch. TV is blatant propaganda, and I don't miss that crap or 'news' (which is largely fake and scripted on teleprompters). To hell with tv.

I mostly agree with that.
95% of what I watch on TV is sports-related; "Gotham" is the only "TV show" I watch regularly. Other than that it's mostly baseball, football (college and pro) and basketball (college). And since I could get all that over the internet anyway I could probably trash my TV too and not really miss it.

"Lemmy" (2010)
Way cool documentary that follows the Motorhead main man around on tour and at home, while a host of celebrity friends and fans (incl. members of Metallica, Anthrax and GnR, Dave Grohl, Henry Rollins, actor Billy Bob Thornton, and many more) tell us what we already knew: that Lemmy was the coolest mo-fo ever to walk the face of the Earth. Essential Motor-fan viewing.

"Original Gangstas" (1996)
Old school blaxploitation meets the new-jack '90s head on in this entertaining shoot'em up from Larry "It's Alive" Cohen. When Fred "The Hammer" Williamson returns to his old neighborhood and learns that it's now in the grip of a murderous street gang, he calls in some of his old friends from back in the day - including Pam "Foxy Brown" Grier, "Gentleman" Jim Brown, and Richard "Shaft" Roundtree - to help him clean up the streets. A fun slice of low budget action junk. A decade after this movie, Sly Stallone used the same formula for the "Expendables" flicks.

Gargoyles (1972)
Cornell Wilde and Jennifer Salt star as an anthropologist and his daughter who come across a horde of creatures who have awaken after 600 years to attempt the rule of Earth over man in this made for TV movie. Pretty decent picture, whose budget must have been put into the design of the creatures, incredibly done by Stan Winston.

I haven't seen that one in decades. If I remember correctly the thing that annoyed me about it was the way the gargoyles moved, always in slow motion.

Attack Of The Lederhosen Zombies (2016)
"Horror/comedy" film that's light on horror and just about the funniest thing in the film is the title. It at least has a nice change in location, taking place in the Swiss Alps, but if you want a snowy zombie film, watch the much superior Dead Snow. Avoid this one.

Washed the bad taste of that crappy zombie film from my mouth by watching the classic Godzilla Vs Monster Zero (1965).
Two astronauts, one american, one Japanese , travel to a newly discovered planet beyond the orbit Jupiter. Once there, they discover the planets inhabitants under distress from the attacks Of King Ghidorah (they call it Monster Zero). Desperate for help, they ask to borrow Godzilla and Rodan to finally defeat it. Naturally, they have ulterior motives. Toho's first of many Godzilla films that involves alien invaders. Lots of fun, although on a side note, as a kid, I never liked the ending.

"Becoming Bond" (2017)
This comedic documentary (streaming exclusively on Hulu) tells the odd story of George Lazenby - an Australian used-car salesman and male model with no acting experience, who still somehow managed to bulls**t his way into taking Sean Connery's place as James Bond. After making his debut in 1969's "On Her Majesty's Secret Service," however, he turned down a long-term contract to make more 007 films and pretty much disappeared from view. The guy who plays Lazenby in the "re-enacted" scenes of George's life doesn't look much like him, but those bits are still quite funny, as are the interviews with the now elderly George himself, because you find yourself wondering how many of his "memories" are true and how much is creative embellishment. Either way, he's an interesting fella and if he hadn't bailed on the 007 role, film history might have been very different!

"London Has Fallen" (2016)
Gerard Butler returns as Secret Service bad-ass Mike Banning in this sequel to "Olympus Has Fallen," and this time out he has to protect the President from terrorists while on a state visit to the U.K. Big, loud, dumb, ultra violent shoot'em up fun.
