You can use all the neglected negative icons to show your displeasure that the Chicago Maddons won.

On a side note, I liked what Michael J. Fox had to say: http://www.ew.com/article/2016/11/03/michael-j-fox-congratulates-cubs-back-to-the-future-part-ii

I actually have no problem with the Cubs finally winning a World Series. Lord knows they've had some of the most longsuffering fans ever. But I absolutely HATE their manager Joe Maddon. I think he's a D*** of the highest order. I was really only rooting against the Cubs because of him.
Other than that I have a lot of respect for the Chicago organization. Since Epstein took over as GM they've made great draft picks and smart trades and built the team the "right way" IMO. But then they hired that A-hole to manage them and all my good will went out the window.

I'm watching the Cubs World Series parade on MLB Network.
I've never seen anything like this! It's like miles and miles of Times Square on New Year's Eve. They're estimating about 2 million people. They're saying the people are 500 deep in places along the route.

I think he's cocky and arrogant and buys into his own hype too much. This is the guy who has brought penguins and magicians into MLB locker rooms. This is also the guy who for some insane reason decided he had to use Chapman in the 9th inning of a World Series game the Cubs were leading 9-2.
This is also the guy who thinks his team never does anything wrong but everyone else plays dirty (see some of the posts earlier in this thread). He's had run-ins with my Cardinals and 007's Pirates. He's accused the Cardinals of throwing at his players but when one of his pitchers broke Matt Holliday's thumb in early August and ended his career as a Cardinal Maddon said that was just part of the game.
Basically I think he's an overrated, cocky SOB. I always thought so when he was managing Tampa but the Rays are in the AL and a long way away from here so I didn't really keep tabs on him. Now that he's not only managing an NL team but a team that's also in STL's division, I see and hear more about his crap. There are some baseball pundits (and not just St. Louis writers) who think Maddon buys into his "genius" hype so much that he has to insinuate himself into every game at every opportunity and I completely agree with that now that I've seen him on a regular basis for two years.
He makes Dusty Baker look like a saint.

And now I see they're saying they estimated the crowd along the parade route to be around FIVE MILLION!!!!!
Good for them! I have nothing against the players or the Cubs fans; it was fun to see so many people with so much joy on their faces.

In the hockey world, what was up with Montreal's first regulation loss of the season? They lost 10-0 to the Columbus Blue Jackets. The most lopsided shutout loss in franchise history.

Earlier I watched my Vandy Commodores give Auburn all they wanted before losing.
Now I'm watching TCU trying to upset Baylor.

Wow. I tuned over to UFC prelims because TCU had that game well under control. I just checked and the final score was 62-22. What a demolition of the #17 ranked team in the country.

Watched the Steelers lose to the Ravens 21-14. Why does Roethlisberger always play horribly the first week back from injury?

Probably because he thinks he's superhuman and tries to come back too soon.

I've been watching NFL Red Zone all day.
Right now I'm "enjoying" watching the LA Rams play the same kind of crappy football they played here for the better part of two decades. Such an inept team, enjoy it LA.
EDIT: Still watching the Rams play like crap on NFL Red Zone. It's now 13-3 Carolina with about 3 minutes left. I'm enjoying hearing the LA fans boo their team. After only several weeks they're already booing.
Try putting up with this ineptitude for about 17 years.

And now I see the Niners are losing to the Saints 38-23 with under 10 minutes left.
There is some justice in the sports world.

People were joking that they'll trade Montoya (their backup goalie) to Colorado, and then Colorado will win the Stanley Cup.

Can't stand the Habs but I'll take Montoya over Varly any day. I have wanted him gone since he got there. I don't think he's a good goalie.
