I've only ever really cared about the NFL. My favorite team has always been the Raiders for some reason.

I don't care about anything but baseball, and I don't follow current teams. I'm more into the history of the game. My favorite team (although admittedly not the best all-time team) is the 1981 LA Dodgers.

my brother in law loves the steelers and penguins. He always tries to make fun of Philly teams until I remind him of the Pirates.

I used to follow the Bucs during the early 90's. Andy Van Slyke was my favorite player. The way he would sprawl out and sacrifice his body to make catches was amazing. That ultimately shortened his career, though.
