I watched the Cardinals pen blow another one giving up a homer to Braun in the 9th. 2-1 Brewers final.
I'm watching the Cowboys too. I still don't like them but I do like Prescott for some reason. Probably because I can't stand Romo.

Am I the only one who is already tired of these "Peyton on Sunday morning" commercials?
They were amusing the first several times but it's becoming obvious that any network broadcasting sports programming is going to run them into the ground. I already want to change the channel whenever the one with Eli comes on.

I'm getting tired of them too. I thought they were funny at first too but I see them at least 5 times a game and it's getting tedious.

Well Prescott couldn't pull it out. Dumb play by the receiver at the end of the game but I doubt it would have made any difference because a field goal from that spot on the field would have been a prayer anyway.
Now I'm waiting for the "sneak preview" of Son Of Zorn. The various promos they've been playing for this new show run the gamut from stupid to funny as hell IMO so I'm curious to see what this show looks like for an entire episode.

Watched the Steelers manhandle the Redskins tonight 38-16 despite missing a few starters due to suspensions (idiots) and injury.
I then flipped over to catch the Pirates Phillies game. The pitiful Pirates are losing 6-1. What the hell happened to my team?

I'm watching the Cubs/Cardinals game.
The crowd camera found a hot girl in a halter top eating a hot dog and the Cardinals' play-by-play guy said "Well some of the shots from our director Tom Mee are better than others."
2-2 in the 6th

Oh, and I saw the "LA" Rams were shut out 28-0 by the Niners last night. That just makes me smile, no, laugh. It's not like the 49ers are a powerhouse and the Lambs had 10 penalties and 10 punts. Some LA papers are already asking if they can give the Lambs back to St. Louis.
Now that's F'n funny!!!!! I have nothing against the players on the team but I soooooo want the Lambs to suck so Kroenke can see that he actually had it good here given what a crappy product he'd been putting on the field for over a decade.

Now that the Pirates have played themselves into irrelevancy, they finally pull out a game 5-3 beind Sean Rodriguez's 3 run homer in the top of the 9th. Ivan Nova pitched another great game but got a no decision thanks to the bullpen.

Yeah, I saw that on the news. I like the comment about that being the most exciting play of the game.

Watching the Cardinals flush the season away.
Truth be told I'd rather they just not make the post-season than tease me by getting the wild card slot only to be clobbered in one game. Time to retool for next year.

I figured for sure the Cardinals would make it. They're the Cardinals, that's what they do.
And the Pirates ended up winning 9-7 in 10. Way too little too late. Time to retool also. Or as well as they can with the joke of an ownership/front office they have.

Watched the Pirates take the first game of a twi night double header against the Reds, 10-4. The Pirates have had quite an offensive output the last 3 games, scoring 35 funs in that span.

Watched the Pirates take the second game of the double header against the Reds,7-3. The Reds must be really bad if the Pirates are able to beat them so handily.

The Reds are pretty bad, definitely the worst team in the division.
EDIT: I just checked and the Reds have 86 losses which ties them with Arizona and San Diego for the third most in MLB. Only the Braves and the Twins have more losses. So yeah, they suck.
Cards pulled one out last night scoring 2 in the 9th to beat San Fran 3-2. Mike "Springs A" Leake actually pitched well for a change going 6 and only allowing the two runs.

Steelers vs Bengals. Sloppy game all around for both teams plus the refs. Steelers get the win 24-16.

Flipping back and forth between the Rams/Seahawks game and the Cardinals/Giants game. Obviously, I'm pulling for the 'Hawk and the Cardinals are up 2-0 after 3 thanks to a 2-run HR by SS Aledmys Diaz. It's too bad Diaz missed over 30 games with the fractured thumb because he'd be a rookie of the year candidate. He wouldn't win but his offensive numbers would have him in the conversation. Even with all those missed games he still has 16 HR, 61 RB and is hitting .309

I saw the Sweden vs. Russia game at the World Cup of Hockey. Russia almost had an epic comeback, scoring with 33 seconds left to make it 2-1 after pulling the goalie. Then, they tied with only seven seconds to go, but that goal got disallowed, therefore Sweden won by a score of 2-1.

Well the Seahawks handed the Lambs a gift with a stupid penalty but at least the Cardinals won 3-0. Rookie Alex Reyes went 7 and allowed only hits and fanning 7.
So now it's the Mets in the first wild card spot with STL 2 games out from wild card 1 and 1 game out of wild card 2.

Watched the Cards beat Colorado. The Mets and Giants both lost so now 1 game separates 3 teams for 2 wild card spots. I can't remember the wild card race ever being this tight.
