Do you mean bad songs or songs that work poorly as opening tracks? If it is the latter, then I would definitely say Skid Row--"My Enemy." Not terrible, but it's a terrible opening song.

You know, AC/DC and OZZY - were masters - of opener songs - Metal music - has to start off - with their very best offering - POW !!! I always thought a CD as a concert - a well worth it concert ticket - I'd party - and ramp up - when a release happened - ha ha there was a lot of releases of metal in my day - anyways - disappointments - CRUE / Theatre Of Pain " City Boy Blues " - not good - Britny Fox / Boys In Heat " In Motion " - so many other songs they could of used HAWK / " Tell The Truth " - singer has a great voice - but the lyrics - not good

I totally disagree. It's a great song! I prefer it over "The Tiananmen Man".

I love the Hawk tune, heard it a few times on one of my comps this weekend.
I can't really think of a "worst" at the moment, but I always wished "Out In The Cold" led of Turbo instead of "Turbo Lover" as I felt it would have set the tone a bit better.

Okay, maybe "Invaders" but only b/c it pales in comparison to the rest of Number of the Beast.

Same here. I have Turbo on vinyl and, when I was a kid, I'd play the second side first all the time so I thought "Out In The Cold" opened the album. It made sense because it was the first track on Priest...live. "Reckless" (my second favorite song on the album) ended side one and "Rock You All Around the World" ended the album (which made sense) with the crappy "Parental Guidance" and "Private Property" buried near the end of side 2. I'd often skip those songs. Only years later did I discover I was wrong all that time.

Its not a bad song, but i always thought Rock Rock Till You Drop wasnt the best choice for an opener to Def Lep's Pyromania to be honest. Stagefright would have worked much better (it even starts off with "welcome to my show"). RRTYD should have opened up side two IMO.

I don't understand why a band would start an album with a track like that. It must've been infuriating to listen to on cassette, ha. I dislike tracks like that placed anywhere on an album, but definitely at the start.

On Nevermore's debut , What Tomorrow Knows. Not really a bad song, just a bad opener.
