| Iron Maiden made me think of this, since in the other thread the songs Quest for Fire and Deja Vu came up, two bad tracks on awesome albums.
But what about the BEST track that is still the worst on the album it's in?
The first thing I thought of was, sticking with Maiden, the Pilgrim or Benjamin Breeg. I'm not necessarily sure which one is the worst track on AMOLAD, but they're still two merely 'good' tracks on an album that's otherwise excellent/perfection. The Pilgrim has this melody line that kind of wears out after a few repeats, and Benjamin Breeg always just sounded a bit off to me. Like it's not even a Maiden track.
Anyway, do any other albums come to mind where even the weakest track is real good?

| You know, I actually thought of Painkiller right after posting. Probably the most consistent Priest album. It's even hard to pick the worst track, they're all good. | |

Man, I hate that song. I only like a few songs from that album.

| Speaking of SiT, I'd rank Heaven Can Wait as the best worst track, that chrous shouldn't be there. Warning on The Warning always seemed as a rather weak opener, but its a good song nonetheless. Run For Your Life on Thundersteel perhaps, even though this one can hardly be categorized as the best. Just mediocre. | |

| Some of my favourite albums have songs that I've started to skip. Just thinking off the top of my head and apologies in advance if I don't like somebodies preference Just my opinion.
ACDC - Let me put my love into you (Back in Black) Judas Priest - United (British Steel) Black Sabbath - Changes (Vol 4) Megadeth - I ain;t Superstitious (Peace Sells)
....and most ballads - too many to mention.

| Any band that I like a lot, I listen to their albums all the way through. I guess I don't mind any "filler" by a band I enjoy the style of. | |

| I love "Little Dreamer", great song (with a nice riff and a great groove) and it's one of the only ones off that album that hasn't been played to death. There are like 3 songs left on that record that radio hasn't buried into the ground: Atomic Punk, Little Dreamer and On Fire. |

| The only VH song off the debut that I don't really care for is Running With the Devil due to overplay. I still hear it everywhere I go. The rest of that album still makes me feel like I've won twelve wars. | |

I love every single song on that album! I picked an obscure one for the hell of it - lol!

| I thought I would go in the way back machine for this one. Back when there were only 6,8,10 songs on a record. Montrose-s/t & Rainbow-Rising and I can't decide the BEST track that is still the worst on those albums. Might be easier on a record with more songs.. But a tough one imho. | |

| I love Saxon's " I'm on Fire " ! It's a macho sexy song for cool babes to answer the call ! KISS ll - " Then I kissed Her " - That's not how you finish up that double live LP - That song did NOT match the middle fold out photo of fire and explosions - Another Paul and Gene idea most likely. | |

| I like it, but Heaven or Nothing from Barren Cross's Atomic Arena. Its a good song and all, but it isnt the best on the album, and being more of a keyboard-driven AOR song it sticks out like a sore thumb. | |

That's on Love Gun (And Then She Kissed Me). The cover tune on Alive II is Any Way You Want It.

| I've heard Queensryche's "Resistance" on Empire get a lot of criticism over the years. I think it's a pretty good song though. | |
