I did Saxon too. When all 20 studio albums were polled, this happened. http://www.heartofmetal.net/t22376-the-story-of-20-polls-on-the-hom-saxon-studio-albums-101?highlight=saxon
I put a lot of work into it because stuff like that is fun for me. When I am done with Priest, I'll choose another band. It's cool that you don't dig on it, no big deal. Feel free to campaign, ignore, or participate.
Good luck trying to make others conform to how you want things to be done. if you succeed send me a synopsis of how you accomplished it, I have been trying to do it for over 50 years.
I think these discography polls are great! Don't stop please.

This has given me a new idea for a thread called 'If you guys don't stop talking about Kiss I'm going to f*%king hang myself!!!!!'
I also like the discography threads

Feel free to start threads on topics you'd like to discuss. Also, just because a thread exists doesn't mean anyone is forcing you to participate in it. I ignore stuff all the time.
I often start threads that get ignored a lot too I don't really care cause if one person digs what I've posted then that's all good.

Skankin' Pickle! I had a buddy who was into them. He liked SP, Fungo Mungo, Dizzy Bam and Pyschefunkapus. I ended up liking the last three bands myself

This is crazy talk from the one person in the peanut gallery. I "guarantee" you that he's the only one that's NOT enjoying these polls. Keep them coming!

I'm not very active around here anymore because I don't listen to much music anymore. Wasn't allowed to listen to it at work (though I did on breaks and lunch) and on my days off I was so worn out and lazy to. I was planning on moving up at work and make better money with less physical work which might have re-sparked my interest in new music but sadly that was derailed. Looking at a pay cut at whatever job I get it might be longer still. If I win the lottery that will change. That is if HoM is still around when hell freezes over.
I spend most of my internet socializing on Deviantart because looking at art requires less concentration and doesn't cost me anything. I still come by from time to time but too many times I get into arguments that cause more aggravation than they're worth (some my fault, some others). That's why I mostly stick to the WWE and beer threads. I'll never leave completely though because at times this was the only social interaction I got and I feel loyalty to many of the people here.

When I grow bored with this place (due mainly to inactivity), I go through the back pages and just read and relearn a lot of stuff I have forgotten. It's amazing how many hundreds of pages of knowledge, happenings, funny stories, videos, and reviews are contained here on HoM.

I don't really know. Maybe he got tired of locking horns with one particular poster, or maybe he got bored of the place. Didn't he check out for some months last year?

Yeah, his name is completely gone. It says "Guest" R.I.P. on all his old posts. But he's disappeared once before... lately he's been dropping hints of his boredom here, saying the board has been dead/inactive. He'll probably be back at some point.
