I crack up when people assume that all the blame goes towards Sebastian. There were 5 people in the band and I'd wager only one of the five original band members has the problem with any reunion and it isn't Sebastian.
His name begins with an "R" and ends with an "L" The band has pretty much been his baby since the beginning.
Over the years there have been lots of interviews regarding the other four wanting to go this way or do this and Rachel said "nope" and that was that. A good example of this is Skid Row getting booked to open for KISS in 1996 and Rachel had gigs with his punk band he wanted to do instead.

What are we blaming people for? You've got one group of guys turning down potentially millions of dollars if they'd only work with one person. That speaks volumes right there.
If you're just looking to blame someone for a reunion not happening, sure, blame the guys in Skid Row. They're the ones saying no after all. But why they're refusing is far more telling, in my opinion.

The guys in Skid Row have stated that they don't need the money. That was said when they were first announcing Harnell as Solinger's replacement. My point is that it usually takes two to tangle and the fault isn't always on just one person. As much as I'd like to check out a reunion, I admire Rachel for doing what he wanted musically and not chase the money in 96 or more recently. Still just cause I admire that, doesn't mean I find no blame on his part. The way I see it, is that Skid Row is/was his baby and no matter what they have done or will ever do. The fingers point at Bach for that huge success and it rubs him the wrong way. Bothers him a lot more than any other personal issues. He has the final say and control over what the band does in the end and that to me says more than turning down a big pay day. If they can't get that huge payday without Sebastian, it only cements that particular thorn in his side. Some people are motivated by principal and you (Ken) appear to think it all comes down to money. It doesn't.

Been wrong before, I suppose I misconstrued your point on one group of guys turning down potential millions of dollars.

I call Bullshit. You cannot tell anything from that poor quality, sitting next to the monitors, crap video. Tony Harnell will put Solinger to shame - even on his own tunes.

Hard to say. The audio is atrocious on that clip. Harnell hit that high note rather well, I think.

I dunno. It's no worse than anything Bach tries to pull off onstage.

I can't see the video (says you have to sign-in to view), but I'll reserve my childish bashing and general disappointment for the first studio release. How he performs live is of little interest to me.

That was quick. Less than a year after joining the band, Tony Harnell has announced that he has left Skid Row, saying that he was tired of being "ignored and disrespected"....
...cue the rumors about a reunion with Sebastian Bach so they can open for the rumored Guns N Roses reunion tour....

I was supposed to see this lineup with Great White on the 19th but the show was cancelled due to an "illness." It must have been due to Tony's imminent departure.

But Solinger did and lasted 15 years?
I assume this is to pave the way for Bach and to open for his buddy Axl's reunited band?

Well, Solinger fit the post-Bach Skid Row style fine and, I think, he fit the olderv songs better than Harnell.

Skid Row has already shot down the Bach reunion/GnR tour rumors via Facebook.
They also claim to have been caught by surprise by Harnell's announcement:
Quote :
To the SKID ROW faithful, As you may know, Tony Harnell quit the band yesterday. We found out about his decision the same way all of you did, via his post on social media. He had posted that he was no longer in the band before informing the band personally.
The last we spoke with Tony was on Dec 17th. He was in the hospital being treated for "bronchitis with asthmatic symptoms". We were all very concerned and offered any assistance we could to help him get healthy. Due to his condition we were forced to cancel our show in Chicago on Dec. 19th. The next time we heard anything was his post yesterday.
That being said, we are all moving forward and wish Tony the best in his future endeavors.
Lastly, amidst all of the rumors and speculation, there has been no talk of a reunion nor are we opening for Guns N Roses.
That’s it for now. We’ll keep you updated as best we can. Thanks for your support and understanding. See you in 2016!

I always respected them for not knuckling under for the quick cash grab & for doing what made them happy. It's clear that they don't like Bach as a person.

Harnell had this to say..."“I was not fired from SKID ROW, I quit. Being ignored and disrespected isn’t my thing. I had a great time performing with the band and singing so many great songs. I don’t regret a thing! xo TH”

That's the amazing thing about all of this. They could make MILLIONS by reuniting with him! How much of a dick must Bach be? Haha.

I seriously doubt Skid Row would make "millions" if they reunited with Bach. A profitable theater tour? Sure. They could make thousands.

I guess I underestimate the amount of Skid Row fans, I remember seeing them in 1995 in Seattle at a 3/4 empty theater.
