Dracula--Swing of Death (Jorn Lande and Trond Holter)

The first single from this project is pretty cool. I'm looking forward to this one. (Any bets on how many albums Jorn will be featured on this year?)

Fantastic! If the whole album is this good, then I'm in. On a side note, Lande looks funny trying to look tough with his soft, round face. What I golden voice!

Hmmm, the album is very hit and miss, a little campy at times. Is this going to be a stage show 'cause it feels that way.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by campy, but I'm going to check it out later tonight. That will be a shame if this single is not indicative of what the album is actually like.

By campy I meant cheesy, it's like the songs were meant for some kind of rock opera. Walking on Water, River of Tears and Into the Dark are good but it's an odd listen overall.

Oh well, i'm sure Jorn will be on at least three other albums.

I've listened to 4 songs so far, and I like what I've heard. I do have a long and known history of loving cheesiness. I usually don't go in for Jorn's proggier stuff, so this is nice for me.

Most Jorn stuff is super cheesy, and so are most of Trond Holters projects too, this one is no exception. But that aside i think this is a great album.

I wasnt expecting much from this album but I actually like it a lot.

Listening to the whole thing on Youtube. This is "must buy" good and I'll be getting it soon. It's very catchy, and the vocal performances are simply outstanding.

Finally picked this up. It's thoroughly enjoyable. It is cheesy at times, but the melodies and Jorn's voice are really, really on. So worth it.

9 days later and I can't get this thing out of my CD player. It's going to be my #1 for 2015 easily, unless a top-10 "desert island" type album comes out soon.
