I saw in the theater when it came out and a couple of times since then, but hadn't seen it in a while... we were scrolling thru Netflix and my wife sez "Y'know, I've never seen that," and I sez "Seriously? Wow, we should do something about that." Haha.
I thought it still held up pretty well, but its whole vibe is just sooooooo '90s, haha.

American Horror Story:Freak Show
Is it just me or is this season taking forever to get going? We;re now what, three or four weeks in already and aside from the killer clown guy (they should forget the Freak Show characters and focus on him!), nothing much seems to be happening.
Well, now that you mention it, it has been a tad slow but the clown (played by the dude who played Drew's brother on the Drew Carey show) has kept the show very interesting. And, wouldn't that make an awesome Halloween costume?
I just saw the last ep last night. While the show started off with a bang (though it's been a little more subdued than last season, which I embrace), I agree it's introducing way too many characters at a fast clip yet taking way too long to get to the central story. I thought last ep was a bit of a misfire. Hoping they let the stops out soon. I really enjoy the freak angle (being a big fan of the old Tod Browning flick).

The Crow is a great movie, but I always thought it was very strange that on The Cleveland Show, which was a spin-off of Family Guy, someone now refuses to watch any Seth MacFarlane related show again because they found a joke made about Brandon Lee too offensive.
Cleveland joked in one episode, "We should shoot blanks at one another, like the ones that killed Brandon Lee."
There were people who said they would never watch Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, or any other Seth MacFarlane related show ever again after that joke.
Geez, that joke is extremely mild compared to some of the jokes these shows come up with; they have made numerous rape related jokes and pedophilia related jokes on his shows.

Fury - Great movie. I am biased because I am an old treadhead, but it's an old school war movie set in the last month of World War II in Europe. There are several gripping battle sequences in the film and it maintains a good pace throughout. It's also cool to see the only running Tiger Tank in the world in action against four Sherman tanks. It's amazing that these 70+ year old monsters are still running.

Rams JV team vs. Chiefs
Every time I think the Rams have turned the corner they lay an egg like this. Although to be fair, only one of their starring O-line finished the game and their entire secondary was comprised of rookies by game's end. Hence the JV team...

Bumgarner has been almost unhittable in the post-season. I'm still pulling for KC and thankfully SF can't use him again as a starter but that guy sure has earned a big payday somewhere down the line.

Walking Dead - A
Very cool but not quite as disturbing an outcome as in the comic. Still memorable and very, very GAH.

Caught the last hour of "Halloween III: Season of the Witch" on AMC last night... that flick gets a lotta hate but I've always dug it just cuz it's so freaky and grim. Props to Tom Atkins for still rockin' a 70s porn 'stache into the 80s, and Dan O'Herlihy (later seen as OCP's "Old Man" in the "RoboCop" films) is great as the evil Druid mask maker who wants to sacrifice all of America's children to the Old Gods.
"H-III" may be short on sense but it's long on creepy vibes and utter WTF-ness!!

The success of Halloween launched the genre, 2 years before Friday The 13th was released.
